Was trackstanding at some lights on saturday. Chap turns to his woman,
"check out that guy over there, he looks cool"
"the one balancing on this bike?...... he looks like a dickhead"lolz
I get this all the time in Essex. You get people leaning out of their cars, shouting, "Fall over!", or, "You look like a dick!" at you. I'm just trackstanding... grow up.

Essex is a funny place. I've never been anywhere where more drivers / passengers hurl totally random and unprovoked abuse at you. Good job I relish being called a cunt by strangers.

Sorry Tom, was in a right old rush.
JAMIE, seen fleetingly then lost this morning on Deptford Creek Road

Digger and Skully hollering at me from behind on Vauxhall Bridge this very morning.
Hola!
I shall blame you both for my pathetic Strava results.
Although I am QOM on Dog Kennel Hill! Get in! (Still 25 secs behind KOM time...how is that even possible?)

guy with multi-coloured lo-pro (w/risers), bumbag and girlfriend in tow on the outer circle of Regent's last night, about 7.30 ish. Nice bike, sort of.
Hi there. Sort of.

Lovely to see you too, sorry if a bit spaced my brain took a while to recognise you.
Two polo people (A boy and a girl, I think as I wasn't paying attention) on essex road earlier around 5.30 ish. Mallets in bags.
Myself and 4ndy. Probably didn't notice you as we were still arguing about him stopping dead in front of me for no reason. Luckily we both had two brakes...

I find it 50/50 that or being told that they are impressed. "How do you do that?"

Pfff, Mitcham Lane isn't that far south, my commute starts in Worcester park... But no one ever spots me in my forum jersey :-(
Well, yeah. I start from Carbloodyshalton. Just a lot of the spots on this thread seem to be over the other side of town.
I do ride through Worcester Park on my way home if I've diverted via RP. I promise to look for you, if it'll make you feel better.

I come down past RP to wp... Grand drive and then lynmouth... Should be easy to spot, I ride a variety of hideous bikes, none with derailers, I'm overweight and have a large ginger beard at the moment!
It would make me feel much better if you spotted me! :)

Thought it could be you but was too sure and you two looked in conversation.
Hope you guys had a safe ride and lovely to see you in London.

Doesn't need to be regular.. once is enough - like when my brake cable snapped at junction of Stockwell Road and Brixton Road.

Lolabelle on my morning commute somewhere in Camden - Delancey Street? Thanks for the guide. For some reason I was following a pack of fast roadies in from Manor House on the groundless assumption that they were going my way!
