Erm black and white bike, black and white lycra kit - heading South about 8.45 probably, turned off west about halfway down the south side. I was on a fugly mtb.
The wind is strange on that bridge - some days it seems to be in different directions per side.

Did you put the dramatic hammer down?
Excessively so. I ran out of gears whilst still heading up.

I rode behind/alongside a guy with a forum cap and raw frame on Piccadilly earlier, didn't say anything as we both had headphones on and I imagined it being awkward. Also because I was probably riding like a dick as I still don't remember how to ride a bike that can freewheel.

Chap on a purple / white Gazelle rolling North on Kennington Park Road at about 5 this evening. Canvas back and a gentlemanly pair of brown leather SPDs (Dromarti type things). Lovely frame! I was coming out of the entrance to Cleaver Square near the art school and you had right of way. You lost me at the lights before Elephant roundabout.

Walrus just now at E&C. I was the one who basically said "i've been watching you, how's the tandem" before fucking off down the Walworth road.
What I meant to say was "Good day, I have been following your dedicated tandem thread on the internet forum about bicycles and their riders in London that we mutually frequent. Might I take this opportunity to ask you how you are finding your handcrafted cycle to ride. I do apologise, the traffic lights appear to taking a turn for the better, I must dash. All the best on your future endeavours." But the lights were changing.
"nice tandem" would have probably been enough

Ha! That's okay, good to meet you, albeit briefly. The tandem is good, kinda dull as a ride, but good.
