Did Evelyn Street, Lower Road, Jamaica Road etc this morning for a change. Followed two rust brown langsters - one a serial RLJ'r, the other wearing co-ordinated brown camo shorts and brown jacket. Belated morning to either of you.

Me, having a tear-up with a the king of all nodders at the junction of Kingsland Rd and Whiston St (supermarket mountain bike, wrong gear, you know the type). As I'm overtaking him he pulls straight out across the lane in front of me, his back wheel clipping my front and sending me straight over the handlebars. I, using all my self control, ask him if he is taking the fucking piss. He's positively foaming at he mouth claiming it's my fault. His logic? "How am I meant to see what you're doing if you're behind me?" My hand automatically balls into a fist and I have to muster all of my strength to cycle away. He RLJ'd and went the wrong way down a side street. TGIF.
OMG - what a f**ktard. Hope you're ok? -

Have to confess, I slightly missread your post tibbly. If you were overtaking you should really have done so with ample space to do so. Sounds like you didn't. The other cyclist's logic is not great and they should have looked but how often do they?
To hit someone from behind is generally going to be the fault of the person behind. If it was two cars, the car behind would be in the wrong in the eyes of the law. His RLJing and going down a one way street isn't cool though.

Ham Sandwich waiting to ride his polo bike across Westferry Rd, looking puzzled, no doubt wondering who DASed him.
Was it Henry, the mild-mannered janitor? Rosemary, the telephone operator? Nope, it was BlueQuinn, taking his motorbike for a run through the Limehouse Link.
Looks more like matt than me!
