  • ^^that's HoKe most likely

I'm pretty sure I've seen the same bike hanging on the railings outside the Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich a couple of times too. Next time I spot him I'll run him off the road give him a friendly toot.

  • Knackered myself trying to drop overdrive between Holborn and Southwark earlier. Good to see you, it's been ages.

Hey!Slow down and say hello next time!Hope you're well.

  • Tibbs heading along the cut as I was mending a puncture. He stopped to chat, which was nice.

  • why did he flounce?

  • he wanted to bake muffins full time

  • I thought DJ's bike was brushed aluminium?
    Very funny!

  • Then Mrs OldSkoolRacer at LCC and the Dutch chap whose name i forgot who rode to cambridge with us also in my Uni

Lol, just showed her this and she has no idea if she saw you but she does say she was probably grumpy so retrospectively apologises.

  • Ha. i saw her heading into the main building after lunch. i was hanging about outside with all the cool kids smoking in circles

Did I see you going down shoreditch high street at about 5:45 or was it your doppleganger?

  • So, I'm being stalked by someone on a lovely looking red Fuji Track with white spok(s).
Saw you twice yesterday morning; Rotherhithe New Rd and then OK Rd and twice again today; OK Rd and then I caught up with you in Roehampton Vale! That's a fair old commute if you do that every day!
    I was <<<<<<<<<<

definitely HoKe with that location and that bike

  • My ears are burning, someone stalking about me?

  • So it would appear! Lovely looking bike and I was gobsmacked when I caught up with you by Richmond Park. How much further were you going?

  • Think i caught a glimpse of Ms.Chris and her fabulous leg warmers just after E&C roundabout this morning, followed by a chap on a Raleigh Team Banana frame heading up Drury Lane, i don't know why but i love those frames.

    Morning all!

  • Was that a Lolabelle heading down Clement's Inn Passage by LSE this morning? If you'd been on the matt black bike I'd have been sure, but you were on something blue. I tried to catch your attention with a quick wheelie+barspin but lack of bike (the TB has been keeping me off the bike this week) made it less than impressive.

Not me im afraid! Havent been east of lmnh in quite a while

  • Not me im afraid! Havent ridden a bike in quite a while

    ^ftfy.

    (Sorry Xander, couldn't resist!)

  • Me, having a tear-up with a the king of all nodders at the junction of Kingsland Rd and Whiston St (supermarket mountain bike, wrong gear, you know the type). As I'm overtaking him he pulls straight out across the lane in front of me, his back wheel clipping my front and sending me straight over the handlebars. I, using all my self control, ask him if he is taking the fucking piss. He's positively foaming at he mouth claiming it's my fault. His logic? "How am I meant to see what you're doing if you're behind me?" My hand automatically balls into a fist and I have to muster all of my strength to cycle away. He RLJ'd and went the wrong way down a side street. TGIF.

  • Mornin' poots. Hope you didn't think it rude of me to shoot off without saying bye but that bloke on the Boris Bike gave me "the look" and put the hammer down. I couldn't let him get away with that but he was surprisingly quick.

Nah not me, no blue machines in my stables. But now I'm gutted I haven't witnessed the wheelie+barspin...Impressive skills especially without a bike! You are a pro!

Yeah, and you blanked me this morning too!

I basically jumped out in front of you!

    Funny, didn't feel the bump.

  • This morning I spotted Pootsmanuva ignoring my wave while travelling in opposite directions going past Coram's Fields.

Was about to deny it being me but then I remember I had to work elsewhere yesterday morning. Le yawn. And yo! Sorry for the blankage. I really should probably start wearing glasses when I'm riding as I never seem to spot people...and of course there are probably other reasons to be able to see stuff other that contributing to the Spotted thread ahem

His logic? "How am I meant to see what you're doing if you're behind me?"

Brilliant. The mild weather + New Years Resolutions (?) seems to have got loads of twats out on the road this week. Some breathtaking, dangerously stupid.

Morning! He was swift! And I was in an even slower than usual mood. Always know I'm late if I see you! Overslept and didn't have 1st coffee of morning. My road rage was less but my speed/urge to get anyway also lessened. Hmm...

  • Today I spotted something really shocking! I was waiting for the light to change and I noticed a guy on a bike ready to RLJ a busy Camden crossing with a little kid on his bike. It wouldn't be shocking if the kid wasn't just sitting on his top tube like on a horse (the only thing keeping him on the bike were his little hands holding the handlebar), yes NO KIDDO THINGY SEAT, no helmet (daddy had one!), any sort of straps! Kid was possibly 2 years old! I said the guy "almost" RLJ because I think he noticed me and a fellow cyclists shocked look so he stopped and waited. Perfect way to loose your kid on the way to nursery..."oh shit I must have dropped him on the way?"

  • Meh, loose kid, make new one. It's only 2, not as if you'd have got too attached to it in that short time.
