I saw a little girl riding a unicycle on the fireroads in Swinley Forest this afternoon. I said "well done, great skills" and she promptly fell off.

A pedestrian just quietly DASd Hatbeard and I on CS7. I was on a black Dolan with wheel on back. Own up...
"Hatbeard and me". Tish tish.

Really? I've been getting that wrong all of my life then. Bummer.

I believe that you use 'I' or 'me' as you would do if there weren't another person involved (in this case Hatbeard).
For example:
A girl told (Hatbeard and) me that we had tiny cocks.
(Hatbeard and) I told the girl that she had a gaping fanny.

This isn't a personal reference is it?

I'm still confused Tanya. You have succeeded in choosing a subject that would engage me and encourage me to learn but I'm afraid I tend to learn more effectively from practical demonstrations.

Liberal voting....

Ok. So we need to find a lady with a gaping fanny. I will make enquiries....

The one that really enrages me is when people try to be extra formal so they use the form of:
"Please show Hatbeard and myself your yawning anus"
instead of:
"please show me and Hatbeard your lady-gape"
It's horrible. It's a hyper-correction because there's a perception that "myself" or "I" is more 'proper' than "me", so people don't use "me" even when it's correct because they don't want to say something childish. Embrace the 'me', people. Embrace, er, me. Embrace. Um. Wait, no, I don't mean it that way. Please don't be creeped out :(

+100 and the irritating tautology people use when discussing themselves. Ie those who say 'me, myself' or 'me, personally' or 'I myself' as in 'Me, personally, I prefer cycling in winter...'. One word will do people!!! -

I think Dan would use you differently were Hatbeard also involved.
One word will do people!!!
That's one powerful word, with no pesky comma to frustrate it's plans.

I, Myself would have got away with it personally if it hadn't been for you pesky 'do a skids'
-

Are we saying that riding with tongues in our ears would prevent Das distractions?
(comma avoidance adhered to)

Spotted two chaps in Hyde Park on the cycling path towards HP corner. One was skidding and the other was filming him on his mobile. Anybody? Btw this path is so smooth that I couldn't resist... and managed to pull few really long skids, no filming involved though you lot just have to believe me.

@orko: That would actually mean getting VERY close to the tongue-in-ear expert.
