There's a hill by London Bridge Station?
Do you write for Rapha as a day job, HB?
No-one writes for Rapha as a day job. They're all too busy riding during the daytime, squeezing pain and suffering into every brightly-lit minute (and a few rain-soaked, muddy, epic minutes every once in a while) (and their photos are always taken against the sun). It is at night, before they sink into exhausted sleep, that they pen those heroic accounts of their exploits.

Apologies Mr Schick :(
Heh, don't worry, not aimed at you specifically. I just had that one pent up for a while and had to vent.

My point was really more about people not being able to use their bikes more than a comment on riding ability.
I'm still waiting for some smart arse to tell me I'm using my gears wrong: There aren't many hills on my various commutes so I always shift onto the big ring on any hill or bridge just to get that bit of extra punishment.

I'm a noob round these parts but saw a lady on a very nice white/pink Bob Jackson on Clerkenwell Road and later on New Cavendish St. about 6:00 yesterday evening. She told me that it sounded like my chain was too tight - which it was. Thanks for the kind advice, duly resolved and had a lovely ride in this morning as a result. Cheers!

Couple of sporting spots.
Ron Dennis at the CSM graduation show last night, and Sir Clive Woodward in Paddington this morning.
Neither were on bikes, the philistines.

^Tru story bro
No. And can I also just register some displeasure at the continued use of this term in a joking manner, when it actually refers to something completely disgusting. I don't find it funny and I must admit that I'm at a loss to think why anyone would find it funny. I know it's just a standard Internet humour phrase and most people find it quite harmless, but I still don't like it.
