Various forum peeps enjoying the sun around Herne hill. Great day today! Good to see you all. Especially T'S for the BBQ
Yes, it was a lovely day. Many commented on the irony of that.
You acused me of hipsterism, I demand a retraction.

I spotted TS playing polo. I'm led to believe that this is a rare occurence and I am very fortunate.
Saw this too. He was playing polo with a football and on grass. Must be getting more risk averse in his old age (I am)

guy in sleeveless shirt with archie's grobags D-lock holster thing on a lovely blue Eddy Merckx, south side of Regents Park yesterday - you said hi, I think I made a noise back, but not sure as I was listening to music and was in another world - meant to say hi and chat about your bike as I've got something similar. Would have given chase but my legs were dead from Thursday night Richmond laps.
Lovely day for it

I think I remember this. I was still a bit vexed about the behaviour of a cabbie at the Gt Portland St/Mortimer St lights. I was waiting behind another cab, preparing to go left onto Mortimer St, primary position, and this cunt straddles the white line to draw alongside me, and then nudges back in as he gets right up to the bumper of the cab in front. Pointless aggravation.
I was only out to bed in a new chain, and try to sort out the fucked-up-but-can't-be-arsed-to-get-it-fixed indexing fiasco thanks to a rear mech hanger that's been 'cold set' back and forth more times than is healthy :(
Anyway, hello there!

Ha, hello. Sounds like a twat, bad luck.
Great Portland st/ Mortimer St an odd choice for a quiet 'bedding in' run - or were you on the way back from Regent's?

Yeah, RP for a few laps. Got lured into a couple of fast laps doing 2(ish)-up with a roadie (light blue Campag jersey). Decent bit of pressure applied to the drivetrain in 53/18-17-16-15 :)
Things are fine until I get to the 3 smallest sprockets. The shifter needs a regular nudge to stop it shifting/trying to shit to the next smaller sprocket. Something is out of whack - dropouts, mech hanger, mech - or possibly all 3.
I really need to get a diagnostic done, to know unequivocally which new bits are needed, but just can't be bothered. I'm not racing on that bike at the moment, so it's not critical.

I got so excited until I read 'courier'
courier ≠ me
:(
I just looked at your profile album to see the bike... Um, that might actually have been you. If you were there at that time, probably was you. I think I might have imagined courier! I was on an old light blue raleigh that I've just bought, huge frame, wearing a blue helmet not at all looking like a hipster type who would use this site and I'm very tall (I'm a secret fixie fan, don't follow the fashion whatsoever, no handlebar moustache, aviators, skinny pants and light blue check tshirt for me sir).

You're new here, aren't you?
Hipsters don't post on here regularly - apart from those, who dress like hipsters ironically. -

If you recognise my bike then it probably was me, I was definitely riding down Old St at around 6ish on my way home from college, I think I was wearing my little green rucksack with a monster face on.
I may look hipster on the surface but deep down I'm 100% internet nerd, it's just camouflage to fit in at art school. EEI is right though, this ain't no hipster forum!

I was under the impression there would be a lot of hipsters here... Now that's cleared up I can post this old video! Yeeeeeeeeeeah!

Please go to the hipster thread and count how many times that video has been posted. Then come back and apologise.

Outside the white horse on shoreditch high street, shouted DAS at a pair heading westbound, guy on fixed hear with pink deep v rear, white frame, at speed obliged. Fair effort mate! You turned left towards brick lane. Hiya!
