Spotted a lorry in dreadful condition. I'm not normally that sensitive to fumes, but that thing was rank--disgustingly smelly and it looked as if it was on fire. There was smoke coming out everywhere at the back. Then I looked at the licence plate and saw that it ended in 'GBH'. Bleurgh.

This morning on the way down Roseberry Avenue - my sandwhich flying out of my pocket and exploding all over the floor :-( Even the tinfoil wrapping didn't save it. Some chap at the bus stop found it funny though
The wife made it and she will be very upset

Oliver - sure it wasn't a tarmac lorry? They'll give off a bit of smoke (and smell, though I quite like the smell meself - like coal-tar soap) if they have heated tar onboard.
I thought it was you at the lights, but wasn't sure. Nice to see you again
