  • Three possible forumgers going to martins heron by train on MTB's, one on a Singular SS 29er, a soma 29er and a on-one inbred. I was the lad with the fixed beater.

    T'was us indeed. Hello!

  • 10+ fixie skidders locked up outside The Angel in Rotherhithe, saw some chaps in London caps and 3/4 lengths. i came by around 7 on pat rohan frame, bullhorns, black deep Vs, messenger cranks, one of you said hi. got to be on here?

  • T'was us indeed. Hello!

Hello! was pretty jealous of you going ofroading, whilst i was stuck on the train home from uni!

  • Cliveo, putting in the solo fixed miles in the pouring rain yesterday.

It was dismal. I had company and gears.

    ftfy.

Yesterday was a good day for a long ride. I kept thinking that however wet it might get in the summer, it will never get that cold. If one can endure conditions like yesterday, summer rides will be a breeze.

  • Cliveo in the pain cave doing laps of RP yesterday! Would have shouted but didn't want you being distracted on the decent.

  • That must have been on my way out through Ham Gate to Ascot and Windsor.

  • little roll with day-mo this morning. see you on the slightly longer roll tomorro dude

Was a good day out although tending towards the fucking freezing by the end.

  • Last night around half 11. Red fort, chrome forks at the junction by Camberwell green. Anyone?

  • That must have been on my way out through Ham Gate to Ascot and Windsor.

Which route did you take to Windsor Clive? I used the Uxbridge Road when I did it for ease of memory as it goes so far, but it was crap and boring. Want to do it again but with a nicer route.

  • i felt the breeze, i shot after it, bought it a G and pedaled my 43Gi home.

  • Suspected the green pompino I saw crossing Oxford Circus this morning might be Velib. Fortunately someone posted this as a sort of handy spotters guide, sighting confirmed...

  • Hmm, just seen a black frame (possible IRO) with white (I think) rims leant up againt the window of Coffee Plant on Portobello. Risers, some stickers, brakeless, BMX flats with no retention; all quite common, but weirdest of all it had a lefthand-side drivetrain...

  • This morning an idiot women tried to undertake me in a mini, corner of Old St and Shorditch High Street. Was still crusing as I flew down Commercial Street, only to see Gilbert of Gilbert and George fame, crossing the road behind Spitalfields market. I thought about singing 'Underneath the Arches' but he probably gets that all the time, so I just said 'good morning' as I sped past.

Sort of wish I'd sung 'Underneath the Arches' though...

  • Spotted last night north side of Tower Bridge about 7pm, four guys, all need to get some fucking lights.

In that group, an orange Carlton conversion, with really wide risers. You might need some foot retention is you are gonna ride brakless. Just saying.

  • little roll with day-mo this morning. see you on the slightly longer roll tomorro dude

I'll be bringing the nectar card brake clearing system....

Gilbert and George eat at Mangals in Dalston 7 days a week always at the same table every evening.
Understandable as the food is amazing

  • Aram I see you looking chilly in borough.

  • Cliveo today, riding the entire course of Paris-Roubaix and back before riding back to London. Chapeau.

  • ^ Jealous because I'm not getting any proper rides in.

  • guy at t'lights of cromwell road/gloucester road on black charge mixer, bar end bulls...

  • Busy day along the Whitechapel Road / Mile End road:

First, a poloenger with heading west in Whitechapel, then a balaclava'd stealth type in beige peaked cap (?) also heading west nearer Mile End. The latter eyed me suspiciously.

  • A guy on a stickered up alu bike having what looked like a chain fail last night on the junction of clerkenwell road and st john street, would have stopped but was a busenger.

  • Spotted the lovely gentleman that is Skullychops. Had a brief ride with him through New Cross. I was going slowly as I am still very uncertain about this fixed-gear malarkey. Still, I'm putting in 20 miles per day (fixed only) so I dare say that its just a matter of time till I "get it".

Good to see you Skully, its been a while.
