I couldn't be bothered with agro so I had quite a reasonable conversation with him in the end, but just asked him to think if signalling at the last minute then turning across a cyclist before they even have time to brake like that is really reasonable, given if took all my skill to avoid hitting the side of his car.
It's always quite fustrating how drivers somehow don't register cyclists as a vulnerable road user, and somehow treat them as they'd treat a car as if nothing bad going to happen to the cyclists.

a mighty, stentorian DAS of near moses like proportions was bellowed on the stockwell road, i feear my subsequent inept reply made a mockery of your
majesterial command, and i should be thrown off the nearest pyrimid.Looked alright to me, especially as you were in heavy traffic aswell sir.

Oliver at the corner of Clapton pond roundabout with what I assumed was a councillor and various community sorts.
You should have come over and said hello! I've never met you.
Councillors, Jennette Arnold AM, and various 'community' people.

That's awesome.

Did you score the rider well?

Had a lovely few hours out yesterday!
Loads of nice bikes about, saw a rasta on a lime green unipack with lime green deep rims on mare st!
A super cool fixie dude on a silver lopro with a kind of subtle vertical striped paint job, could have been a hallucination, near tower.
Nice. -

Anything interesting a foot?

shinigami, footing it through the mass of pedestrians who seem to think that Brewer St is pedestrianized, rather than just having some building works at the regent street end.
Then a big bunch more than five, less than ten) of cycling bods (presumably fixed, didn't get a good look) on mortimer st, corner of charlotte st. For some reason one of them seemed quite surprised to see me cycling along. Hallooo to you all..

Can't believe you were trying to cycle through that mess.

@ shinigami, twas easy, just chill, and let some of the more engrossed pedestrians know you're about, having a loud voice and whistle helps as well..
-
• #34245

Object feeling my bum on OSR
I just had some fun on Essex Road, if you like that kind of thing. This guy decided to turn left across me, problem was he lived just off it, so was turning into his garage. So I gave chase and had an interesting conversation. His justification was that I'd cut in front of him at the lights by Essex Road station. What he meant by cut in front of him was I'd ridden into the ASL box! Then his justification became well I signalled, then it moved to something else.
I couldn't be bothered with agro so I had quite a reasonable conversation with him in the end, but just asked him to think if signalling at the last minute then turning across a cyclist before they even have time to brake like that is really reasonable, given if took all my skill to avoid hitting the side of his car.
I was actually going fast, because I felt like it, but I did nothing wrong, and I do get tired of having these conversations.
Sigh.
