Hi to the hip American guy, tache & cool specs, rides a Black Ribble track bike. We spoke at Tower Bridge Road this morning, I was on my bike with a monster front rack and you were being friendly. 'sup.

I see no one on my current commute... No one, I tell you...
Stranger in a strange land... that's what happens when you work from home

It's the anti-fixie commute... Brixton > Kensington... Nodders all the way, apart from the really nice Irish guy on a road bike I see on most mornings I'm heading Way Out West... We meet on Brixton Water Lane then split up and meet up again at least twice at different points on our way (if the Gods are kind) to the Fulham Road... He turns left, I continue up Pelham Street...

It's the anti-fixie commute... Brixton > Kensington...
My commute has also largely been anti-fixie, despite being Old St > Anywhere.
We ride among them…

Pretty sure I rode along behind you the other evening, City, down over London Bridge then along Borough high street.

Hmm, ok, it was a fixed Ti bike, rider was on the drops a lot, looked a little like Rick Moranis.
Had a slightly remarkable hat on.
Who he?

frequently spot a tall chap with long ginger hair messengering it around... anyone on here?
yesterday: someone coming out of ewer st onto union st, all in black with spectacles and a hat, seen you a few times, always get/give the ''lfgss?'' look.
last night: two guys walking their cookie-cutter fixies down borough road, one with a large messenger bag with a few big reflective panels on it.

Girl in what looked like a Nutcase helmet on a cream coloured fixed, mashing from Blenheim Crescent onto Ladbroke Grove at about 8:50 am. Nice bike.

Me too and we are right.
Is this a regional thing? I'm with you two but have often used it in the presence of Southerners and they've almost always misunderstood. That and Welsh people (my girlfriend).
As for spots - hello to the bloke who rides fixed (black frame - that's as much as I ever see) who I always see near Mortlake Station - we both crossed on the footbridge the other day. You on here?
