I have to agree with VeeVee (not because she is my wife).
It helps though, doesn't it?

ok let's not degenerate this! We've all been angry many times and done silly things. Let's try to accept that other people do the same silly things.

@ Vee
Yeah, I agree in general - it only makes things worse (that's why I hate stuff like critical mass- too much confrontation that just makes things worse).. But this guy effectively tried to injure/kill me by attempting to knock me off my bike twice. I honestly think I displayed an amazing amount of self-restraint considering
@ jay,
what was he going to do to the next cyclist that would be worse than a ram, followed by a t-bone?!!Seriously mate, he got a lot less than he deserved and no-one got hurt. As I've now said a million now times I normally avoid confrontation and am generally passive. I've seen DJ in action and I've got to say it's pretty horrific, a tonne of people here will verify that I am a calm and friendly person.
Let's not blow this out proportion. Oh hang on... I forgot this is lfgss

Anyway, what about the guy who I quoted - he punched a bloody wing mirror?! Why am I getting all this shit, I did something funny and harmless

Spotted a girl wearing black with purple leggings or socks, trackstanding a really nice looking matte black bike with black wheels on Bishopsgate. The bike looked pleasingly industrial/chunky.

^ I think it was the 2 incidents on the same page that got my goat.
What you did could be twisted into a criminal damage claim (if the aerial got damaged when you threw it).
The driver would have had to get out of his vehicle to reattach the aerial possibly without moving to the side of the road, thereby pissing off other motorists.
There are some seriously psychotic people out there.

I am all for giving them a "you fucktard" smile, shake your head and ride on.
Hopefully I will never snap. -

seems the idiot cyclists from yesterday have gone back to being idiot drivers today. At least it's nice weather.

2008 actually, the first year was pretty quiet.

If you're on a geared road bike, just drop in the big ring and leave the silly skidders in your dust!
Some of us don't need the big ring to leave fixie skiddlers behind.

Next time you think people are just dickheads and you had a good reason, think of this:

and this

Probably means that you're the dickhead and they had good reasons

I know, I know ... just like tom doesn't need a small ring to climb steep hills ... or a fixie skidder doesn't even need to do anything to leave me behind ... I envy all of you bastards.

mmm.. tenuous at best I think.
Though I understand what you're getting (underneath it all) and for the most part I agree.
This is a bit dull now no?
Who spotted the group of Police bike trainees 'getting rad' by 'stunting' on and off the kerb on the outer cirlce of Regents Park yesterday. Brought a huge smile to my face

Did you not stop to think that your actions may have caused him to seriously fuck with the next cyclist that pissed in his tiny portion of chips.
There's pretty much two outcome.
The first outcome is what you describe, motorists will likely to be disgrunted toward other cyclists.
The other outcome is that they'll end up thinking it's not worth the hassle of having to get out of the vehicles to retreat the aerial so they can listen to Love.fm again.
I don't condone it though.
I have to agree with VeeVee (not because she is my wife).
