Spotted a Condor Rapha pista ridden by a dude in a green shirt and white Catlike Whisper helmet on Commercial Road this morning.
Had a brief chat with a chap in an LFGSS cap at the Old Street Roundabout.
Then saw a motorcycle cop pull over an Oliver Schick doppelganger for RLJ on High Holborn in front of my office.
Steven Seagal's in London?
You know it. I was born to raise hell, but urban justice caught up with me when I thought I was out of reach. They shadow you, man. No-one's above the law*.

I didn't damage anything, I simply removed/moved a few things

.. fortunately he was so tightly packed in that he couldn't open the door and the traffic wasn't going anywhere, so he had to sit there and watch as I unscrewed his radio aerial (which I threw across the road) and flipped all his wing mirrors/windscreen wipers around, before hopping onto the pavement and fucking off.
It was worth all the traffic and danger just to see his rubbery red face scream at me from the cab of the van, when he was powerless to do anything about it :)
ouch dan, that's not great at all . You behaved exactly like the driver.

and he smiled and waved!

Dan, you just did what we all wish we had the balls to do. I love you.... as long as you're generally a chilled cyclist and this was a special exception.

No.
Not at all, and I resent the implication. It would have been very easy for me to loose it and start kicking in mirrors, letting air out of tyres, instead I did something passive, and I did it with a smile and a sense of humour.
I didn't try to harm him or endanger anyone else, I just removed/moved some stuff. Read the post, no harm done at all. The worst outcome of my actions would have been him having to walk across the road to get his aerial back and flip his mirrors back into place

For sure, I don't really get angry when cycling - used to, but you work out after a while that getting angry only puts you in danger and makes you take stupid risks. If people cut me up I generally go for a knock on the window and a little finger wag before making an exit.

Sorry Dan, I'm not telling you off. But I don't agree with retaliation it just escalates and it never ends. I also get angry on the roads but I'm never proud of it. I'd much prefer be ultra cool, smile and let go (which I find ultra difficult).
