fergal's always boping about rounds there saw him last night as i was having a pint in the Northuberland...he wasn't with his perfect cousin though

apologies to anyone who witnessed me get mowed down on theobalds road this morning by a medium sized lorry who then proceeded to drive off with me in pursuit on foot (leaving my bike in the middle of the road).

i was a little heated and not thinking clearly as i will smith in black chased him down.
caught up with him and told him to pull over, he said 'round the corner' then did a runner.
i got back to my bike and tried to find him but couldn't.

By allowing someone to drive this vehicle, the driver is at risk of being STOPPED by the police and having their vehicle impounded, and possibly DISPOSED OF, if proof of insurance cannot be provided.

That might explain why he didn't stop - and will almost certainly make the police more interested in the case. Did you call them? If not I'd head down to your local station asap. Were there any company names on the lorry?

Edit: could also mean the plate number was wrong though.

sumo - yes.. but i'm as much annoyed with myself for not being observant enough to take down the company name as i was in a red rage after chasing him down about 400 metres in cycling shoes.. i was fumbling around for my phone as i was speaking to him and i think he realised this as thats when he drove off.

he came out of saffron hill on clerkenwell road, so i'm gonna go down there after wrk in the hope i may spot the van.

i'm going to go to the police to register the info tomorrow.
