Thanks to the lady on grays inn road who yelled at the cabbie who was hassling me for swearing at him... after he cut me and the Mr up and honked at us then proceeded to lecture me at the light. We had fun hassling him then heard her giving it to him from the other side. Amazing. Thanks again.

A certain very brown Brooklyn machine works bike being ridden slowly around kings cross. I would have DAS but was a bit embarrassed about my bike.

There's only two of those in London, one is from TokyoFixedGear, and the other is Scott's old one.
-
• #29663
I assume its the recently sold one as it looked the same from the pics from the classified section - gold bits and all. Unless the other one from tokyo fixed had the same specs?
-
• #29664
exact same specs, customer saw Scott's bike, wanted it in same colour with gold hubs and brown rims etc.
the only difference is the other have riser and scott have drop bar with v-brake.

Max' bike
This apostrophe has blown my mind. Please advise

I saw Scott's old one today, on Aldersgate street, guy stepped it up through the chicane, then I breezed past at the roundabout. It looks hot.

I prefer "Max'" to "Max's".
-
• #29668
That's a phonological disgrace.
Always Max's /maksis/, never Max' or Maxs' /maks/, unless you're talking about something belonging to someone called 'Mac'.

Senor bearfoot through Brixton this morning as we discussed restaurant hygeine inspections in Tottenhale (a bit random, yes). Then the delightful Johnny (looking as hip as all the kids) at the roundabouty thing where E and C joins Blackfriars rd. Looking forward to a guinni with you both this eve.
Seems the best spotting is done post 9am when all the fixieskidderslackers are setting off to work. -

st george's circus kattie, nice to see you. you were laying it down a bit and smiling. brilliant. saw senor bearfoot shortly afterwards.
yep, the G.
Yup. Definitely trying harder for smiling, as it's harder than looking as if you're 'suffering'. Well done! Cycling is fundamentally enjoyable--not everyone needs to be a ProTour rider grinding up 20-kilometre climbs at silly speeds.
