Spotted the doctor with the curly black hair from Green Wing on a Boris bike going up Camden High Street at about 6.30pm this evening, and as soon as I spotted him he was overtaken by someone on a nice looking black frame in an LFGSS cap.
Then later I saw what I think was edscoble's bike outside Wagamama's in Wimbledon. Hello!

Just got back form Barca last week, yep, saw a few nice ones myself over there. Lotta the same white walls as over here though - i think white walls are a plague personally. an easy way to look sharp. But each to their own.
Think I got a couple pics of fixed 's over there but gotta dl form the camera to see.
Spotted. Barcelona boys....they ride fixed.

Yesterday evening. Holborn to Waterloo. Hipster. Black Surley. Risers. Deep rimes (one green) Headphones. Brakeless. RLJ'ing all over the shop and doing massive skids to avoid being wiped out at almost every junction. Kind of admire your riding. But then ultimately you were riding like a tool.

Nice note: PiQuE on Shoreditch High - nice to meet you, cheers for the saddle
Bad note: someone in Cycle Surgery Holborn in the queue in front of me about 6.30 this eve getting a bit narky and hmphing, swearing and tutting a lot. Small 'tache, tweed cap, mission workshop backpack, generally acting like he was gracing us and the shop with his presence.
When asked to move his bike from leaning against their stock to the racks at the door by the security guard he loudly said "there's no room on his precious rack, does he think I'm gonna leave 3 and a half grands worth of bike outside without a lock, errrmm I don't think so!" Congrats everyone heard, you spanked loads of cash on a bike, well fucking done. Maybe an idea to buy a lock too, I hear they're useful in London. Bike was brushed aluminium with carbon forks, mavic rims I think and drop bars with black tape. Cheers for looking at me and my admittedly fixie skidderesque bike like we were pieces of shit as I left too- nice attitude.
Brilliant post. Post of the month. Repped and would be more repped if only that were possible.
This post should be a lesson to us all. Don't behave like an arrogant imbecile on the road or in clcle shops or you will be shamed.

That was me, I was pretty much sitting near the windows in full view of my bike.

Its actually a trick...
They check to make sure you have spent at least £36.00 per visit, even if you just went in purchase tyre levers. I still have 3 mates lost, can't get out of a famous bike shop in town... Lundon innit...

I never concluded my drunk-at-8am-wrong-way-down-the-one-way-street-taxi-driver-abuse-didn't-mention-the-splitting-of-the-junction post..
As I predicted, there was a cycle lane going the opposite way down the street by the end of the week.
A few of you may even know what road I'm talking about now. Needless to say, the taxi driver done a well big cry that day. -
