  • Max's the new me.

  • T4NY4 riding along Knightsbridge, I waved both my book and umbrella and was sternly ignored.

  • My cast doesnt allow me to ride so im confined to the car for the next few weeks, but will be down at beers tomorrow

Black cycling cap? I see him quite frequently, beat him once on a 20 year old road bike but every time I've seen him since he RLJ's away from me.

  • I see him fairly often as well, rolling along Lewisham Way. Though every time I see him I'm either in a hurry, or I'm not in the mood to jump the gap.

  • Does he have an orange spoke?

  • Does he run Mavic Ellipse with a flat bar? Think I seen him at Old Street track standing?

  • No orange spoke. He's always wearing black, think he's got drops. black cap with WC stripes down the middle tonight. Obeyed the reds and was nippy enough for me to 'give it a go'. He always seems to be nippy though. Used to see him when I was commuting out to Sidcup, when I'd turn up to Lewisham Way he'd keep going on the New Cross Road.
    The man's a mystery.

  • Did see a guy rocking a rear orange spok being a bit of an idiot southbound at that holborn csm junction tonight though. Being in the lane nearest the middle of the road and sticking your hand out to turn left across three lanes of traffic doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

  • That's the bloke who like to do it MASH style everyday (orange spoke).

The other sound like a regular Southie, I forget who it is though.

  • Max...... WORKING!!!!! near Condor- I did shout but I was a Hackneycabenger at the time.

same! i was eating drunken rice outside siam central when he ticked back to base in the pouring rain.

  • A big Thankyou to the roadie on a red and black Specialized this morning going from Upper Street through Rosebury Ave and up to Grays in Road. I was trying to race off my hangover and you assisted in quite a triumphant way. I did get quite close to catching you at one point.... Thanks Again :)

  • Who did I pass going north over London Bridge at 2am? I was in the drops fighting against the wind southwards. You had one of those sticky-up rear mudguards.

  • Thanks to the retro roadie who asked me if I was OK after some fat banker stepped into the road on Bishopsgate this morning. Cue a graceless brakescramble followed by an unscathed banker walking obliviously away from a swearing heavily tattooed bike rider laying down, still strapped into the pedals, on the floor.

I tried to catch the fucker up for some creative swearing but fat bankers in cheap grey suits are ten a penny in Bishopsgate, it could've been anyone.

  • you shouldve screamed at all of them ;-)

  • Spotted Max at my work building as I popped out for lunch. Nice chatting with you and I'm looking forward to seeing the new bike.

  • Howard Marks, aka Mr Nice on Dean st this afternoon.

  • hipster, complete with front 'spok on Great Portland Street having a very very bad time in the cross wind..

I almost wet myself when your bars got blown out of your hands mid-trackstand and you almost face planted onto your stem..

get a normal wheel for windy days instead of that plastic sail
