  • Nhatt is correct, I've started working in Victoria so that was most likely me. Incidentally, have seen LFGSS cap going along Victoria street on a black frame. I nodded to you as I left the Jayems smoking shop.

Possibly this was me, black Roadrat SS. I seem to be up and down Victoria Street working pretty much daily. Sorry if I missed you citygent.

  • I love when it rains and most of the (few) cyclists I see are on fixed.

  • Where have you been son?

I only went out to buy bread and.. and that was the last... the last.. oh, God.

  • Furious Tiles on Sunday morning near Halfords riding something bigger than a Brompton. I was on my way to burning bread for one of the best breakfasts ever.

    1. My puncture repair kit, by the front door this morning...
    2. Girl with a puncture nr. Chelsea -kindly being helped by a good samaritan.
    3. Guy with a puncture nr. Vauxhall Bridge-kindly being helped by a good samaritan.
    4. Massive shard of glass in my wheel -luckily 100 yards from work.
  • Digger on a road bike shweeping round the "wrong" shide of the shouth shircular at Foresht Hill yeshterday afternoon. Mrs R and I were croshing the road with a chicken in a polyethylene bag (not fast and bulbous).
(Sorry, danish pastry in my mouth)

  • Brave pushing it a bit on the OKR this morning, and then taking it easy for my benefit.
Nice to see a familiar face on the way in, even if it does have to be his.
(well done on the weekend result)

  • 100% perfect nodder spot this morning - pedalling hard on a squeaky old mountain bike, fluoro vest and £5 helmet, running a (very) red light on the Euston Road that I stopped at. I thought, "you're brave" and sure enough, two seconds later in the middle of the box junction he had a motorbike and a van screaming past either side of him, merrily honking their horns. Pretty sure he shat himself.

  • man in underpants. nothing else. oxford street.
looked "refreshed" or may have been "refreshed" at some point in the night.
wallet in hands. bare feet. good bod.

I'm sure I saw this fucker coming down Dalston Kingsland road this morning. I cringed every time he jumped a red without looking. And fuck, I'll jump a red or two, but not Dalston Junction at rush hour at 15mph with ratty brakes. Jesus.

  • also:
man on kona (ithink) mountain bike, with big brake booster on front, laptop satchel and rucksack on back. headphones in, clearly to help you concentrate on the road ahead.
if you know there's something wrong with your back wheel when i point out you've dropped your chain and that's why your legs are spinning around and you're not going anywhere, why haven't you fixed it yet. it happened everytime you tried to change up to the top gear.

    ho hum.

  • Did anyone see me on Jamaica road on Friday about 6.20 fixing a puncture it immediatly puncturing again, something was clearly still in the tyre but I couldn't find it for the life of me.. had to cab and train it home.

Loads of people passed as I was having a massive pissy fit and then trying to hail a cab... thanks fuckos, not even 1 "are you alright?"

  • Welcome to London

  • And I would have sorted it for you. Was sitting in LMNH instead of my usual 6.20 southern fly-by though :(

(Karma still owes me one free fix after I donated a tube and a pump and some time to a guy at the top of Loampit Vale this time last year.)

Well, riding to the right of the lights as you face up the hill outside the station but given that the whole road from that junction was shut for the sewer repair, it's an academic point. I'd forgotten about the DP anniversary ride - looked like a nice route down to Shoreham. Sorry I didn't recognise you quickly enough to say hi. Are the salmons in service yet?

  • Just seen the hillbilly, running away from his domdaniel of employ (presumably to get lunch)

and just before that, some hipster with glasses and a hat, on a red bike pulling a trailer thing, posing like he was on the red carpet at the Oscars instead of the pissing rain in the Stockwell road. Looked familiar.
