my first spot: A colnago (probably master) conversion with phil hubs looking shabby chic on upper st on saturday. Was going to say hi but as i had no bike with me it might have been seen as stalking / cottaging so decided against it.

I'm not too sure how much they cost. you might wanna send a message to andy at fixedgearlondon.com about that, he's very helpful and might be able to get you a pair.

Spotted a grey or possibly dull silver aluminium fixed gear bike at 1:15pm today in Chiswick heading east along the High Road. Was carrying a big camo rucksack. Anyone?
-

someone on something shiny black/silver all over stokey yesterday. I didn't get close enough for a good look, but you were in the park and on church street at various points throughout the day.
there are a few regular bikes hanging out near footballers in Clissold Park too...anyone here?

saw skoota coming down herne hill on saturday early afternoon with what looked like a big loaded archie's on his back. then 10 mins later saw edmundane coming down walworth road laden with a wheelset on his back.
you both ignored my friendly gestures. but then cannot blame you as i was driving a big fuck off van full of my worldlies en route to hipster central - E8, where i saw millions of fixeds.
i think i clocked 1bhp going down bethnal green road yesterday. i overtook as you were chatting with a couple of other fixed up types. hope you are well my man
hey jonny, yup twas me, was too late by the time it registered though, so didn't shout. But all's good cheers, you?
Welcome back to the darkside. -

I see that guy about everywhere. I spotted him last night near leicester sq followed by another bike with a white aerospoke but with a pink deep V and white frame
Yeah was folowing the guy along Clarkenwell. Beautiful bike. Had a nice chrome phil wood hub on the rear! Dont think he notice me stalking though.

Hops, suspiciously hanging around outside my flat :-)
Shame you had a delivery to make, I had just about summoned up the chutzpah to ask you in for a cup of earl grey and a slice of fruit cake. And no, Dave, that's not a euphemism...

I think I spotted Brett (although having only met once on the last Brighton ride I could well be mistaken) coming up Chetwynd Road at about half 6 this eveing...

Who has a red ribble on here with risers & brake, and longish hair (dreads?) and glasses, who was traversing the mine/battle-field that is charing cross road at approximately half 3 this afternoon?
...because I spotted them.

Delivering / picking up at MediaCom? Watch out for John Phillips! -
• #2943
And to you. I trust the new commute is treating you well?
-
• #2944
How on earth does mashton get spotted on the shortest commute ever, and I pull in 9 miles from the West and never get spotted on my commute!
Though this morning I did see a blue and white Reynolds ridden by a guy in a light blue sweat shirt. Nice bike.

Hang on a minute, why is mine the shortest commute ever? I usually do 5 miles from Bloomsbury over to Kensington.
Admittedly I am on a training course in Old Street at the moment, dropping it to about a kilometer, but it is good spotting ground - Hippy yesterday and Jonny today. Who might I see tomorrow, I wonder?
edit: And I saw Hops yesterday. Three spots in 2 days is a record for me. VB - must try harder, have you considered opening your eyes whilst riding?

nimhbus at richmond park about 20mins ago. cutting through the middle prob avoiding the hills or going for a scenic route
YES! i 'ave been spotted. finally.
i always go through the middle to avoid sawyers, yes, but also there's no cars that way too.
i thought i heard someone yell out. you were with roadies, weren't you.
-
• #2948
Exactly!
You & I do pretty much the same commute but you obviously go an arse about way since I get spotted loads and you = never.
Controversial but just a thought, like :P

I think I just do it too early.
Sometimes I do Hammersmith > High St Kensington > Hyde Park Corner, and sometimes I do Shepherds Bush > Notting Hill > Marble Arch.
I never see anyone either way.
Except for that one time I took a detour and was running late, then I saw hippy. That was about 9 months ago.

you'd see me, on pink bridgestone. i'm always down ken high street, hyde park
asm, up to Hackney, E8, even popped in to Sunday bike polo. see you up here the end of the summer then, and even sooner if you are at the Trinity later.
