  • Chap on a very nice Titanium Framed beast, Borough High Street this morn in Rapha Tweed, Rapha Bib Shorts and Rapha Socks.......

Bet there was a Rapha Base Layer in there as well....

    Sounds like purple_mj.

Andy you know me too well its worrying...(missed you last night on the TNRC)
@maddernj it may well of been me, its my normal route work, what are you riding I will keep 'em peeled?

  • Saw him as well. Didn't know it was all Rapha, as I couldn't take my eyes off his Condor bike. He said it is a nice ride. I bet it is.

Anyone on here? That was a nice lighting contraption as well. What exactly was it?

Hi Pascalo, I remember our brief chat at the lights, I was running the exposure red eye off of the Joystick, really bright, small and quick to swap over to another bike.

  • hey there. that very same spot is where I landed on my bum today :(

I really have to look into a better light setup for when I manage to do more then 100k audax rides or the DD.
The hope vision 1 light I have runs out of battery after 2-3 hours :(

Well for what its worth, you just made me giggle picturing it just now, glad to hear only your pride was dented.
Have a look at the TNRC thread http://www.lfgss.com/thread38863.html come along with your light and (spare set of batteries) have a look at the different lights as you ride the lanes, best way of making a choice and nothing like seeing them in action.

  • Christ, that's a long way south! Which reminds me, I saw a lovely geared Moser locked up outside the little supermarket at the corner of Croxted Road and Park Hall Road yesterday afternoon - thought it was you, but it was way too early!

Ah that was me, getting some pasta from Tesco so I could fuel up for TNRC!

  • Sounds like an idea ... got a couple of questions --> going to post in the relevant thread

  • saw a guy pull a massive wheelie down the length of victoria st at some high speed on a fixed gear machine this afternoon circa 3.30pm.

    orange and blue messenger bag.

brightened up an exhausting, car-fume infested day.

    awesome!!!

  • As I have to spend my days on 4 wheels carrying my gear, the best I can do is pretend I'm back on 2.

Own up then! Parsons Green last week, I often see you buzzing about.

  • Yesterday, hauling a massive suitbag, was complimented on my mudguard by a beardy fella on a BJ - lovely (not baby) blue, white fork, red front rim, silver rear. Nice look.

This morning - Cornygrooves! Yay. Clefty - you are right - he is the absolute spit of the two.

  • Multigrooves doing his best Damsel in distress to my Knight in shining armour just now on Tower Bridge - good luck!

  • Canary Yellow on New Oxford Street
    and
In Regents Park this morning, I have just remembered I recognised you from the Christmas Day ride, you were the chap who had a T-Shirt and Shorts on, even though it was freezing, I was the fella who the bird nearly flew into. Oh Hai.

  • Girl wearing a camo jacket and face mask on a white Condor at the ped crossing in front of Parliament about half an hour ago. I like the style

  • Bloke on a nice electric pink looking frame with chrome drops on Coldharbour lane this morning. Have seen a few times, though not always on that bike, always gives a nod. Hello if your on here.

  • Mr danceclub on his 'upgrade' all the way down the hipster highway. I see you got yourself a more appropriate lock too. :) That bike sticks out a mile!

  • Beautiful geared blue Mercian on bishopsgate with me this morning.

Baldy rider all decked out on bike finery.

  • Last night, the same tatty but nice Mercian geared bike (san serif style decals), and some bloody lovely pale metallic green Mercian (old fashioned decals), white barber's pole, panniers. Could have done with a clean but it was nice, reminded me of SP's.

This was on Clerkenwell Rd/St John's St, 'bout 6pm.
