Age and overuse of painkillers has addled my brain. MrsO was driving me down New North Road to work this morning just before 8am. For most of the journey until we got to Old Srtreet roundabourt when he turned west along the Hipster Highway, we were alongside a forumenger who I know and with whom I have ridden a number of times but whose name has slipped through a hole in my conciousness. Fixed with clips and a front brake. Big white BMX helmet. I was going to shout "do a skid" but MrsO forbade it.

Ginger guy on a battleship grey fixie with black deep v's heading West on the Hipster Highway around 8.10am. I was the comedy headband wearing fellow ginger on the red and white ss raleigh - was going to yell out when you went to RLJ as the filth were lying in wait but you spotted them just in time - phew.

Sorry no. I have unremarkable rim/hub colour combos and, despite Damo's description, I was wearing no black (grey 'NBA' t-shirt of this parish in fact).

Spotted: Cougar roadie playing a weird game of cat and mouse with me from Tower Hill to Canary Wharf... I'd overtake cuz she was going so slow, then she'd pass me when I got stopped at lights and then slow right down so I'd have to get past her again, blah, blah, blah... This happened three or four times... Get onto the Thames Path past Limehouse and she starts chatting me up!?!
