I saw a guy on some geared hybrid with a white front aerospoke this morning. Most bizarre.
Clearly the BLB ones were not necessarily all bought up by hipsters.

mashton spotted jonny doing late afternoon RP laps. He was going the tough way round, clockwise, and probably won't believe me that i did one lap that way before reverting to the more orthodox, wussy, anti-clockwise direction with my roadie buddy Luke.
Good to see you, wish we'd been near a purveyor of the black stuff...
yeah spotted mashton and then about two hours later spotted the black stuff.
i believe you about the one shift on the clockwise direction (thousands wouldn't ;)). did spot a couple of other fixies doing the RP laps but they were going the other way too. tut tut tut

How many laps did you do Jonny? After a 14 mile ride down there and two laps I started getting the same knee pain as when I did London -> Cambridge. Not good :-(

Bianchi Pista, white rims silver Nitto low pro bars, riverside walk off Lower Thames Street - locked up outside fitness first.

only did three laps matt cos wanted to catch the end of the cup final. managed to clock up nearly 60 miles yesterday though so was happy with that.
bad news about the knee dude, glad it's not just riding fixed though cos weren't you on gears yesterday?

so you think anti clockwise is easier? i find that 9 times out of ten there is a horrible headwind up sawyers hill as it's quite open in that part of the park which can make it a real grind.
i prefer going that way as you are turning left at the roundabouts which is easier than turning right. -

@jonny: no, I was fixed, riding with a gearie. I made him match my gear for the climbs, ha ha :-) I think the knee stuff will get better, I may just have to pay more attention to stretching.
@mrsmith: Yeah, I definitely prefer anti clockwise. I hate the drag up the West side when going clockwise, and love that section when going anti clockwise. And I definitely prefer going up Sawyer's Hill to going up the nasty one in the woods (with the bend in it).

• #2349
Anti-clockwise is the preferred direction, for sure. left turns a big part of it, but also the big hill is easier, i think
-
• #2350
3 of each direction. Any less and you're a gayer. ;)
green frame with yellow deep-vs and yellow drops today walking along high street kensington. anyone on here?
