i mean the part of strand that is next to aldwych, as opposed to the part infront of the courts of justice or the other part of strand between aldwych and charing x.

whole scenario:

i was walking west to get a sausage roll from greggs, they were walking east with bike as that part of strand goes west one way. they were looking at my feet, i presume the noticing cycling shoes and didn't see a bike.

am i off the mark?
