Most hilarious thing i have ever seen.
Walking down the road and see a guy on a nice red raleigh single speed conversion riding down bishops gate two brakes, freehwheel, extremly short risers.
The lights turn red about 50 meteres infront of him, he is pedalling full out. He leans forward, like a fixie skidder, and puts his balls right on the stem, his chest puffed out like a rooster. He then coasts, as if he is skidding, swerving all over and tryin to whip out his rearwheel, he then brakes, just as he reaches the lights and puts his foot down, i was surprised he didnt try and do a trackstand...
I shouted do a skid when the lights turned green, he ignored.
It made my day.that's epic.
you couldn't make this shit up.
i wish i had witnessed the hideous act. -

Maybe one of those. It curves round onto ER. I use it every blinking day, it's on my commute. It's a shit road, anyway.

Who waved at me this morning at Clapham common in the pissing rain? I waved back gleefully - but you were all wrapped up in helmet/glasses/waterproof and I wasn't sure who you were through the wet haze. Anyway it's always nice to see a friendly face is shit awful weather.

Anyways, heal soon dude.I got put on a trial to test surgery versus leaving to heal. The selection process has to be random so, after being talked through both option, I was handed a sealed envelope with the result inside. Lights dim, drum rolls, I peel open the golden envelope and the winner is... non-operative.
not sure how I feel about it quite yet, can't help thinking surgery will make for a better fix but if it was that clear cut they wouldn't be running the study.
So what did you get offered?

Exactly the same. I'm not convinced it was totally random as the envelope had a number on it and wasn't sealed particularly well. Add to that the consultant had already said surgery wouldn't be an option for me due to my upcoming travels.
Back to the painkillers and tricked out sling it is then.

• #20541
Ah yes, didn't get a top up of painkillers. No probs, I'm heading down to the Offside Bar to get some organic pain relief. Just as soon as I pluck up the courage to face public transport.

Eversholt Street. (It doesn't strictly come 'off of' Hampstead Road, but Cardington Street isn't really a 'shit road' so I assume you must mean Eversholt Street.)

I do not mean Eversholt Street. I mean the road that comes off Hampstead road and curves round down the side of Euston, as I said. There are some hotels on it and always hunners of black cabs.

• #20545
Ah, that's Cardington Street/Melton Street, then.
