Hm, my reaction was more 'it's like a big sit-up-and-beg, and riding it I feel like a pre-war cyclist'. ;)
Trouble is there's never a pre-war cyclist around when you need one.

Started a new commute, and spotted two bikes/cyclists in particular. Don't know them by person, but one is a nice Bianchi Pista (chromeo one), brakeless, easton drops and H+Son front & rear, both in black. Much nicer than OTP! saw locked up this morning outside cafe.
And a guy riding a cream lo-pro, thought it was fixed, but looked like coasting this morning. Brooklyn jersey and cap. Both around Wandsworth area.

Overtook one of those orange hooligan bikes tonight near Chelsea harbour. Sounded like the guy was carrying a bag of spanners....I suppose he could have been a plumber but then again I don''t know many plumbers who wear chinos and deck shoes.
Jesus those bikes don't look they are going to last long if noises this one was making are anything to go by.

Dude on all black brakeless fixed, mavic bladed spoke'd wheels pulling up outside the evans cycles in camden, by the roundhouse. Shouted do a skid, HE DID ONE! Sweet dude!
The awesome trixter with the all black plug (i think) with green wheels, good at wheelie barspins, pulling up to the same place.
Old off white/cream/beige lugged frame with white rear wheel and front orange spok, same place.
All this afternoon while i waited to get tickets to see the Hoosiers at the roundhouse for the itunes live festival.

A pigeon hitting me square in the chest this morning.
woke me up a bit.
-
• #17344
Haha, merked! Did it just burst into a ball of feathers and flames from the speed?
-
• #17345
Yes and because of the speed I was travelling at it just stuck there for the next two miles spinning at 60,000rpm and set my hair on fire
no I'm lying, it was fine. I think.
Things I have learnt today: pigeons feel very hollow, like they don't have any insides. -
