Eschewing handlebars works for me ?

I was thinking more: "eschewing [me?] using [his] handlebars."
Like hiding behind them to shun you, you mean?Sorry. I'll stop now.

mashton i love the spotted thread, mainly because i love spotting you peeps, out and about. Amazing how often it happens - i seem to see somewhere from here about once a week or so.
It's another great benefit of cycling - other people probably 'just miss' each other all the time on buses / tubes etc. but never realise it.
I love posts that have "I love" in them. Happens so often on this site :o)
LFGSS - keeping it real

I spotted all of y'all sitting around while the cold wind whipped around Brick Lane today. I was on foraging duty (hungry girlfriend, also needing flowers from Columbia Rd) so couldn't stop… but I did manage to slow down to a suitable stalker-ish pace. I was on the red ribble. Looking creepy/starving/jealous of your antics. Or not since only two people (and someone on a skateboard) were doing anything.
Then I bumped into Moose about 15 minutes later by Spitalfields. With, awww, a bike for his daughter. How cute!
And a couple of fixed gears around the area. Something green by the All Saints corner. A couple of conversions.
…It was virtually raining fixed gears today. Anyway: hello all! -

'Ted'
what a great word i haven't heard in ages...
never really worked out what it meant, some mates of mine used to talk about 'Acid Teds', meaning kind of hooligan types who'd got loved up.

He wants a bike that looks like a perverted oldschool BMX but finds the real thing too uncomfortable to ride? I imagine the get-up mentioned looks rather Playmobil.... super.
Uhhh, maybe. I was a bit pissed when i wrote that :-)
