To me, these are just randomly associated words. Means nothing I'm afraid. (Assume its an East thing). -

Hmm possibly, I recognised her from the roller race, not good with names I'm afraid hence the lack of holla when I saw her!

A tired (or grumpy, but I prefer tired) looking courier girl in Tesco's on Bethnal green road... I thought I should say hello but that seemed a little random.
Can you justifiably start a conversation if bike shoes are your only reason for saying hi?grumpy ? Sounds like me
Was visiting my temple ( Tesco Reduced shelf ), was ill and tired after a long day. Wouldn't have bitten your hand off had you been "witty and charming" though***Not a courier ***
Are you really tall ?
Yep, Really Tall that's me - Should've said hi I guess...
Hi!
I hope you've recovered!
Are we neighbours then?
dude you should prob have tried some of your arty juggling to impress her instead of the charm then...
That freaked me out for a sec... I was like; who is this astrozzack, and how does he know about me. Then I figured it out. How's tricks?
But perhaps your right. In future I'll carry the full compliment of circus equipment. Then when ever I see a pretty girl I can break into some natty trick - unfortunately SPDs are a little slippery for backflips.A question for the Ladies: Are circus tricks better than wit and charm?
-

Nothing beat wit and charm apart from money.
-
• #1684
heh... i know everything and everyone that swings by the circus space dude ;) i have informers... (well at least i knew a few ppl put it that way)
i think trick cycling would be the ultimate combination!

A yellow Fort locked up to the railings of the Coborn Arms last night. Second time I've seen it in as many weeks. Anyone on here? You were practically drinking in my back yard.

andy, is that the coborn arms near mile end?
yellow Fort wasn't mine but fond memories of that place, mainly from watching the 2002 world cup in there - opening at 7 in the morning.

Velocity Boy's Bob J in Chiswick earlier today. No VB though. Think your woman's bike was locked up with it. Loving that crows foot lacing.

Heh heh, i saw it too, looked about for mister k but he was nowhere in sight. Time to check your chain tension david...
Also spotted this evening: photoben headed north on kingsland road, eschewing using his handlebars as usual. I was on foot having had a shit bus journey - s'rubbish making journies without a bike.

i love the spotted thread, mainly because i love spotting you peeps, out and about. Amazing how often it happens - i seem to see somewhere from here about once a week or so.
It's another great benefit of cycling - other people probably 'just miss' each other all the time on buses / tubes etc. but never realise it.

eschewing? with handlebars? huh?

Yeah, that's the place. I'm spoilt for choice here with the Morgan Arms about 5 doors down.
World Cup 2002. Was that the one where England got knocked out in the quarters? Or was that 2006? :)
Madness!
