PS - When I spotted her, as I pulled out of a side street, V was disappearing at very great speed into the distance. The only reason I managed to catch her up was because she had to slow down for heavy traffic and red lights. ;-)

What Ru means is that I was huffing and puffing on that massive hill that leads to Clapham South fighting a North-East wind.

And when I got to work I followed a cyclist colleague through the garage door and a security guard came to me and asked me which floor I worked on. The other colleague later on told me that I may have looked suspicious as I look like a courier as I wear trendy clothes! Arf!!

Banshee sighting?

It is possible - would be a new zone for a sighting. Dooks, if you can be arsed to document your sighting, please do so on the Banshee thread. What did she look like/was she riding etc?

She has always been described as a confident, even aggressive rider. No reports of swearing to date either, just loud outbursts. Could this, like the black squirrel and the super rat, a kind of evolution? A super banshee? Worrying times indeed.

just caught up with the entire banshee thread. very entertaining.

i don't think this was her though. orange fluoro vest, brompton, very wobbly and submissive bike handling = not your girl. i think the swearing and screaming this morning was a defensive reaction to getting a bit of a fright from me.

i'll keep and eye and ear out for the banshee in the southwark area too. in fact i'm considering mounting one of these on my handlebars:
