Interesting I've lived in Watford for some time and spotted one person.
Thanks
I'm from watford originally. Ride up there to see family once in a while. Wasn't me this time though.

Bespectacled girl in Brockley or Peckham or something on saturday riding fixed gave my cousin and I the biggest grin Ive seen from a bike rider.
I'd hazzard a guess that most riders there are getting around on full sus mtb's.

Jacqui. Sorry my hello was so unenthusiastic, I've been sick for four days.

i would like nothing more than for 14 to take as much business away from blb.
blb is like supreme with their rudeness bordering on pretentiousness. What a load of shite... I've always found Supreme and BLB to be very friendly, maybe it's just your shitty attitude that's the problem?
Anyway... Spotted Sid (Saeed) the courier on Victoria Street this morning, I was picking up antibiotics and sporting an abcess the size of a small moon on my face (cue Sir Alec, "That's no moon!")... You couldn't make this shit up...

Spotted today: 14 truing my front wheel (damaged when a twat cut me up, clipped it and drove off leaving me in the road, bleeding and with extremely painful ribs) while I waited and for the low, low price of £5. The utterly gorgeous red-haired girl who was working there over the weekend wasn't in evidence though so only 9/10.
Also spotted today, a couple (tall chap with dark hair and beard, black SS/fixed bike and his very blonde-haired girlfriend) going into the flats adjacent to mine on Damien St E1. I was the scruffy fucker with the Fuji having a lovely post-Pellicci and post-first-time-back-on-the-bike ciggy.

Thats Nic, she couriers for most of the week and I think she is in 14 now from thursday to saturday/sunday I think, caught up with her a week or so back and was quite surprised to see her in there as she was full time as a courier for a while, hadn't seen her around in ages but she used to work in BLB part time which is where I knew her from originally.

yup thats Nic, she's got a few tats and piercings, bit difficult to tell but I don't think there are many female couriers with bright ginger hair like that around London.

Spotted the girl on the green bike with gold bits on my commute this morning on Old Street. She was trackstanding. I was jealous.
I can trackstand for fookin' ages round the back of my flat but I just know I'm gonna hit the ground like a sack of shit as soon as I attempt that sort of stuff at the lights. I need to HTFU...

indeed! i was jealous of your tshirt, as i was quite warm by that point, after being unreliably informed (mentioning no names, jimbilly!) that it was cold outside! heh.
It was cold when I left the house this morning ;-9

.although i've never been affected by blb or supremes rudeness, i am aware that it occurs, i've seen people flat out cold shouldered by staff in nyc supreme and have also witnessed a similar ethos in blb.
mate, supreme staff are known for giving the cold shoulder to non skaters, its how they roll.
its not just my opinion or 'my shitty attitude', in the short time i've been here i've noticed many people with a similar opinion of blb.. and i guess not everyone who makes that claim has a shitty attitude.

Likewise! :-)
(Didn't catch your real name though - unless you're actually called Tricity Bendix, which would make life a lot easier...)

I rolled my bike in one Friday after my chain snapped on Old Street roundabout (I could not retrieve it if I wanted to live). I was there 1 hour after they shutted and the staff were having drinks. They opened the door, sold me a chain, fitted, oil it and gave me a vodka redbull.
Make up your own mind.

i've never had a bad experience at BLB or 14 :)

its probably a combination of elitism/niche markets/snobbery which plays a part, its gonna happen everywhere, but like james said.. you have to make up your own mind. i'm guilty of allowing others opinion to influence mine, we all have preconceptions.. but sometimes i allow them to dictate my own opinion a little too much.
but hey, i've had great experiences with evans cycles, which from reading here doesnt seem to be the case.. but i also got thrown out of dixons on oxford street. so as far as i'm concerned they're cunts.
I've been spotted on the Hipster Highway, I can die a happy man now.
