  • I'm in the Regent! Who knew they had wi-fi?!? I'll need to know everything you've overheard...

  • gwyn_again in the Regent... Who knew Gwyn would be here?!? You comin', Snowy? Gwyn's already told me all the 'gossip' tho'....

  • I thought I would have clocked the CrossCheck, not your standard commuter fare. Guess not. No replacement for your Pug just yet?

Have been loving the Crosscheck over winter, rear guard lovely frame and great ride (even with the gears) so haven't really bothered looking to hard for a Pug replacement. Focus is not on convincing myself to buy a 29er for some summer off road fun.

  • Nah, sadly not. I'm waiting on the doctor, he's just given me Lariam, against my express wishes. I may be going to the previous heart of darkness, but I don't want to be experiencing it via mefloquine driven hallucinations.

And regent wifi is iffy - the hub's always down when I want to use it.

  • Iffy wifi? Now that's funny! Mebbe see ya laterz...

  • aye, playing frisbee at 6, so I'll catch you there. try the Champion Pale Ale, tis cracking.

  • Dammit riding his Fuji down Deptford High Street 2mins ago, shouted "Do a skid!" but he was in the zone.

  • Pain killers?

  • you talking to me Joe?

  • Quite possibly.

  • I'll probably head off before I get too battered on this shit...

  • Drunkertons cider. It looks a bit like a sample.

  • Yeah, all my shit is stamped sample, bitch... I don't pay for nuffink!!! Quite pokey gear is Dunkertons, as it goes... ;]

  • ahem

  • Yeah, pretty much what you just said... And arsey with it, proper ciderhead shit... :D

  • Hehe.

  • oh by the way.. don't want anyone forcing fingers down throats here but on my way back up East around midday I rolled up to lights - think it was Kingsland / Middleton junction - and there was a dark-haired girl on the Middleton corner on a (I think) silver BJ with yellow trim who was just about ready to jump her red light when the lights on my side definitively hit red-amber... I started off, kind of looked at her to see if she was going to go for it - she saw the engines revving behind me and stopped and put her foot down again, ready to settle down to a bit more of a wait. At that point we made eye contact and I gave her a smile as to say "hey dude, next time eh.." and she smiled so sweetly with such a sheepish little smile I...I kind of fell in love a little bit..

sorry even I have to go and be sick now... anyway, fairly sure she's not on here so lonely hearts-style spot ftw!! if you are on here - you made me laugh and feel feelings others feel all the time but in me all but dried up long ago (she's probably someone's "other half" though.. they always are.....)

  • that was me jim jams. I'm at the doctors now getting emergency contraception and an STI test

  • shit dude.. the sheepish smile... it all makes sense now....

  • Does it smell of farmyards Joe? That's what proper cider smells like.

  • I can smell pig, is that normal? I'm on the Aussie stuff now*...

** If you're a potential client, I am actually working during all of this BTW... *

  • ** If you're a potential client, I am actually a complete workshy cunt BTW... *

    Fixed

  • I'm a creative, I'm tapping into mysterious pools of creative, er, juice while I'm working... And I haven't got a table and chair at home... FACT!
Going home for a lie-down now, actually...

  • Slamm - getting his trackstand rudely interupted by an irate routemaster, then patiently joining the back of the noddy queue at Waterloo Bridge. Was going to say hey until I remembered I didn't know your real name, and shouting "Slamm!" across a group of commuters seemed too embarassing...
