no worries dave. i was admiring the view but mainly just not riding my rear wheel that had fnally said enough is enough. just needs new bearings and i have been slack about sorting it. Bikefix sorted me with a new wheel so all was good for the Tuesday Night Ride Club

oh, and TNRC spotted edscoble as we got back in to waterloo just before midnight

guy on a road bike, nearly taking me out on Tooting high road last night. I said loudly 'Don't ride like a twat' He pulled up next to me and said 'Don't ride like what?' I said 'A Twat' and looked at him expecting a 'fuck you'. He looked at me quizzically and said 'What was wrong with that?' I explained that undertaking me, between a bus, in heavy traffic, at speed, in Tooting, whilst almost clipping the bus and nearly taking me out, was a bit fucking stupid. Then something wierd happened, he said 'Ok fair point, I'm sorry I just got a bit excited' I said we have enough to deal with, without taking each other out on the road, he agreed, apologised again and sped off (still riding like a twat mind, I caught up with him as he was undertaking a massive truck with fuck all room).

That's george sportif, and that wheel is so nice! its got a DEF sticker on one side though, not sure if thats the brand, I don't know a lot about those fancy pants kinda wheels :p.

think today, whilst being a shopeneger on oxford street, I passed within 6 inches of Corny's face in the scrum round the tube station, both of us on foot....I'm a little slow, so by the time the hamster kicked in he was long gone, lost in the crowd of tourist scum....

Actually I didn't really understand you, I thought you were asking me where did I get my bags from!

the pannier was really scary to watch as everytime it shake, it almost hit the spokes everytime!
