Exactly. There performance benefits are the main reason for me wanting them. The speeds i'll attain with them travelling down Mare street will become stuff of legend.

you might as well make a 3spok shape out of cradboard and tape it onto your spokes

i want a zipp carbon rim with bladed spokes. I tried out a mate's one ages ago, the difference is incredible. very fast!!

Meanwhile, I'm going to use my Campag Neutron up front instead of my system-ex/open pro, partly for the bladed spokes, and partly for the QR.

I need to get used to keeping on top of 46x13 (93") first...

Keep your eyes peeled on ebay... I picked up this clincher in shiny new condition for £250 & have fallen in love, so smooth, light, fast & it makes a gentle propellor whoosh when you get up to speed. I was watching ebay for about 6 months & only 3 front clinchers have come up & they all went for between £250 & £280... so if you see one.... pounce!

well im using my hed3 to commute daily and mere st is on my way, so be prepared for a hedbattle to the death

Saw one in JD's shop. Not for sale. They look nice but fragile to my newbie eyes.

when I heard 3 spoke wheel, one word that kept cropping up in my head; wind.

yea i think i notice the wind alot as my hed3 is on the front, but you can still notice advantages when its windy and it doesn't affect you too much

My Hed3 has a slight 'wobble' to it. Only moves about 1mm either way but I was wondering if this was normal? I can't notice it when riding just when I fit it?
