be careful of tongue overlap, some people have real problems with it and can't get used to it. Others have no problems, so try before you buy.

And stay away from fusion food if your gonna have a sandwich stick to traditional english ingredients , no bbq sauce on your pizza keep it italian... Nothing tastes worse than when you mix ingredients from different countries!!!

japanese official sushi beats old european sandwiches anyday. Tastier, healthier and frankly cooler!

HTFU and catch your own lunch. What, you don't know how to hunt and fish?

guys i know this is the wrong forum, but I know a lot of you eat other types of lunches other than sandwiches, and i'm looking for some advice RE cous-cous - what's better? Those little small grain ones, or the big ones. Also has anyone got any experience of moroccan style (ie with raisins and stuff)?
Sort of disenchanted with sandwiches after that bad indigestion I had. Was off lunch for almost 2 weeks!

Don't buy a stolen lunch though, someone may have spent along time saving and preparing that lunch only to have it stolen and sold down bricklane.

Speaking of brick lane - I had a bad experience with the brick lane beigel shop - on several occasions they haven't heated my beigel when requested, and last week they left out the bacon. steer clear of them, they suck ass!!!!!!!!

you cnut, i've had nothing but good experiences at the Brick Lane Beigal Shop, the owner in there is the salt of the earth! did you ask him to sort it out before berating the shop so publicly and anonymously on a widely read sandwich forum?!

My German friend loved them though. She said: "We don't have bagels like this in Berlin."
"Well, whose fault is that?" I asked. -

@ hamster: no of course not, what do you take me for??! I was achingly polite and accepted my incorrect bagel without even a hint of irritation, ate it in a quiet place while silently weeping, then proceeded to email a copy of my story to every tabloid newspaper, as well as posting it on multiple locations on the internet, claiming that the bagel was not only incorrect, but that it gave me bowel cancer and a brain tumour!!!

i decided to have Ainsley Harriott signature couscous for lunch...i think i may have put too much water in it.i called Ainsley for some advice...he suggested i leave it for a few minutes to allow the couscous to absorb the excess water.

brick lane own brand beigels...any good?

YEah i've heard about the issues with ainsley harriot cous-cous and water retention - apparently it was to keep the cous cous hydrated over more long-distance lunches. Ideally I'd like to use my cous cous for touring, so the ainsley harriot cous cous would be perfect, but unfortunately he's black and i'm a nazi and a racist.
Does anyone know of any other makers of long distance cous cous? I have the money to buy a custom one off lunch. The maker has to be aryan though?

I heard they're just rebranded New York Bagel Co bagels.

So they're not compatible with cream cheese? I'm so confused.
I think I'll pass. That crust geometry looks a tad too relaxed for my overbite.
