RichC Whilst on a BMX topic have any of you seen these fixies coming out of Daves Quality Meat in New York, they are ububerer 'hipster' but if you're an old school BMXer you may appreciate the homage to late 80's neon GTs/Skyways/Haros

jonaent (Jon) Aren't flatland BMXs fixed?
A Flatland rider by the name of Trevor Meyer ran a Fixed wheel for a while and was busting out some crazy moves.
http://expn.go.com/athletes/bios/MEYER_TREVOR.html
Other than that it's all about the freecoaster's in Flatland where the cranks stay still regardless of which way the bike rolls so the crank arms don't get in the way.
G-Sport/Odyssey are bringing out a Freecoaster that apparently by adusting the paws inside the hub a certain direction you can go from FC to a fixed gear.

Seeing that brought back the memories.
This is where I used to ride 'back in the day' - only 20 mins from Liverpool St on the train. Well worth checking out if any of you still ride \ skate.

You can fight Smeear for the part in my spares box. Dedpendant on what you want to buil I have some heavy but strong as sin wheels. You'd need to use a 44/16 gear ration though...

Another old BMXer here - happiest days of my life when BMX *was *life, we rode every day and lived for RoM skatepark every Sunday - days of Marco, Billy Stupple etc. Below is my old first generation Haro Freestyler. Finally had to sell it last year after it lay untouched since the early 80's. Went to a good home as a 'survivor' on the retro BMX forum. Couple of pics of me riding it BITD too - other guy is a young Dave Curry for those who remember him...

Not sure how much I want for it, it's kind of taking up room in my flat, so I'm happy to hear offers?
