Hello.

Some of you have mentioned that you used to be into BMX. Cool me too.

I still quite like BMX but my back isn't up to riding a BMX for more than a few minutes. Anyway I thought I'd make a thread to post all BMX related stuff in.

Aren't flatland BMXs fixed?

I want a new (to me) BMX but I a broke at the moment :(

Has anyone got a copy of head first bmx and ride on. I did have them on vhs but have lost them in moves e.t.c I would love to grab a copy off of somone (I am rude I know sorry).

Some are most have the exact oposite a free coster hub so you can freewheel backwards and forwards.

Whilst on a BMX topic have any of you seen these fixies coming out of Daves Quality Meat in New York, they are ububerer 'hipster' but if you're an old school BMXer you may appreciate the homage to late 80's neon GTs/Skyways/Haros

I managed to track down a copy of ride on a month or so back - amazing video... so many memories. It's back with it's owner now but i'll ask if i can grab it again

Cool Dave that would be great. If any one has the technology the best thing to do would be to burn it to divx or something, I cna't fing it any where on the torrent sight alread done.

Usually not, many use freecoasters though.
I've only ever seen one fixed and that was with a home made hub.

EDIT: just watched the first 20 minutes. It appears to be some Animal video (the bike company not the clothing/watch company). It's still a good BMX vid though.

Joe Kid on a Stingray is such a cool movie.. My girlfriend bought it as my xmas gift! :)

On a related note, my girlfriend's bmx is currently for sale.. it's a pretty good bike (honestly, most kids I know have much crappier bikes..) If anyone's looking for a bmx, let me know ;)

If you look on the right in google video there is a dowload tab just choose which format you would like.
