  • A dilemma: for a women's challenge, 2 or 3 laps? Times on the overall list or to start a second one? Here or in the ladies' forum?

  • 3 laps, overall list. can do you a little icon if you want fastest lady though.

  • Yeah overall list. I'd like to see how poorly I match up with all not half the folks who do it.

Doesn't seem very LFGSS to have male/female lists. Let's go unisex.

  • Unless you're faster than me, then I think we should split them. Tired of being at the bottom...

  • The frustrating thing is that I'm sitting here, not having to be at work until 4pm, with a newly-cleaned road bike - but it's raining. Bah.

    Go on then:

But only one, because of this:

  • Which way round is meant to be easier/faster? Anticlock?

    That's some bad luck sparky!

I prefer ACW, the climb's a bit more stretched out. Having said that, coming down the steep bit fixed in the rain is a ballache. Oh, and luck has nothing to do with it - London's full of fuckwits, I find them all the time.

  • ^rightyho
I only did 2 yesterday but based on my time for those, it'll leave me at the bottom, from where there is only one way to go I suppose...

  • Ah right, you're Amey. That confused me a bit as isn't there another forumer whose handle is Amey?

What gearing (or propulsion system) did you use for your stated (hypersonic/Mach 6) Max speed ?

    Avg Speed: 22.2 mph
    Avg Moving Speed: 22.2 mph
    Max Speed: 4,405.9 mph

Let's just say that I'm glad I wasn't wearing white shorts.

That is weird though - perhaps the Garmin isn't as accurate as I might have hoped...

  • 3456.3 mph max here:

    http://connect.garmin.com/activity/201817080

I suspect the Garmin website is having a little joke with us.

  • I'm thinking it might be time for another go at this, my recovery has been both long and arduous. A cheeky 6am run this week might be on the cards.

  • A dilemma: for a women's challenge, 2 or 3 laps? Times on the overall list or to start a second one? Here or in the ladies' forum?

While I'm all for integration, I quite like the idea of a sub-league for women. Not that I think I'll do any better, but I'd quite like to be last at the bottom of a shorter list.

  • Maths not my strong point, but Bradley Wiggins completed the 3,497 km of the TDF in 87.5 hrs approx, thats an average of 39.97 kmh or 24.8 mph. That would mean 3 laps of RP in about 48.5 mins.
    Holy shit.
