2hrs 1 minute, i seem to be taking longer

  • The thought of running two laps of RP fills me with dread.

  • Hmm I'm building up to posting a time for 3 laps, should be there by feb.

    Then maybe 4 by May.

  • Sparky, seeing it's Sunday, were the road busy?

  • Yeah, I got snarled up in it once or twice. Including a nice couple who decided to stop quickly on that big descent on wet roads to point momentarily at a deer then drive off again.

  • I'm worried whether or not the frame is actually in a warehouse

my worst fears confirmed. The frame was on the site due to a stock-taking error. I'm f*cked.

  • fuuuuuu

  • I know

  • just called Evans warehouse and in-fact they do have the frame... but it's been SNAPPED by some idiot at the Dean St. Store in Manchester.

Going to have to send KC over there to set them straight!

  • What kind of idiot snaps a BMC?

  • Do they use double butted brandy snaps to build these things?

  • yes.

  • does scoble work at an evans? maybe he knows what their policy is re. this kind of thing. If anyone else does lemme know.

happy to play the violin down the phone if it gets me a comparable frame.

  • get a Canyon

  • Poor Benjamin

  • Get them to Scoblematch the frame.

  • I don't know what that means, but it sounded good.

  • i hope you find a suitable alternative

  • Benjam- what size frame do you need, 62 or so?

  • "It is an enormous privilege to now launch Fenton in Europe."

    Lol.

  • Did they think there was more room in the market to chase deer in RP and one Fenton wasn't enough?

  • The thought of running two laps of RP fills me with dread.

I like the idea, i now watch the people running and feel envious, i have spent more time running that cycling this year so i guess that doesn't help

i am liking Lidl Eds thinking and am going to follow in his footsteps.

  • I'm enjoying running too - it's a new thing for me. But I think it will always stay an occasional thing. Feeling pretty good at the moment with doing Parkrun on Saturday's, commuting 11 miles a day by bike and fitting the occasional longer ride in when I can. It's a nice level: no couch potato, but certainly no athlete.

  • Benjam- what size frame do you need, 62 or so?

    yup.

  • For those of us that use Strava, I've created a 3-lap segment starting and ending at Roehampton Gate.
