one of my fav riders (I think he's clean Andy) is leading, interesting to see if he can hold on

Can you not fake your IP address into fooling it to think you're in the UK? Use this;
I like Boom, he's a cyclocrosser. :-)

• #257
Thanks for that, I'll give it a try, but first I'm going out on my bike (chewing on peanutbutter sandwichdoping)
I was at the Dutch nationals beginning of this year, Boom was ahead of the field the whole time. He lives near me and we ride the same CX training grounds here
, still hope to meet him one day and try to keep his wheel for erm, 2 minutes or something -

try a vpn service like blackvpn? it's monthly pay as you go at about E5 a month for a UK server, it's what I use to watch BBC and ITV etc here in Germany and works well.

Near the beginning of the week they were chatting pre-stage on ITV about the difference between racing the UK and the rest of the world and the answer, to paraphrase, was 'it's harder in England because the roads are worse so the rolling resistance is greater'.
Makes sense. I guess the undulating nature of the uk makes it harder too as tempo keeps coining vs alpine stages where its 1 hour of 12% gradient.
I think that if Jens is at 90% after only breaking a finger he's getting soft..
