  • I hear you Elvis, we've been spoiled by the recent run of sunny days, normal Brighton weather service has been resumed today!

indeed. my office is littered in drying clothes!

  • so which pub shall we comandeer for the tour de france finale? any cycle friendly?

  • reckon we could convince the fiddler's to show it?

  • possibly. anywhere with a tv is a maybe, as its in the day they won't be too busy.

  • I know we talked the windmill into showing the boat race couple of months ago, just somewhere half decent with a screen really, it's not like it's going to clash with anything.

Weather looking okay for sunday if anyone is free

  • what ya thinking of doin on sunday people i maybe around?!

what time is the final day of the tour as i have a feeling i will be stuck behind my desk at work!!!

  • sat 27th is the final. should be good. afternoon in the pub it is!

i'm in this sun if its not raining.

  • i could be up for a ride on sunday. bell me if you like - i may not be on the net this weekend.

    windmill is a good call.

  • i have no one's mobile number any more post losing it, any chance i can get ya to text me them?

ta guys... i reckon the weekend route should include southover

  • might go out to handcross tomorrow to watch a bit of racing. anyone fancy a spin out there and back??

  • what sort of time we thinking people? early start? I'm offline now for a bit so I'll text you.

  • depending on the time and where you are all goin i may pop out for a spin

  • earlier we start the longer I can get away with being out

  • 2.30 at the library for a little ride, if anyone else's about?

  • watch out for the drain covers, nearly majorly stacked on the one on the corner on egremont place. will teach me for trying central town hill climb training ! Stick to the flat of the seafront

  • track tomorrow? i'll be there with a change of gear so i can race if feel fit.

    see you there!

  • see you there... or in the pub again.

  • Looks like i'm getting the Pinarello :) the blokes on holiday but agreed a price and gonna sort delivery when he gets back.

Cue lots of questions about bb compat and chain line

  • nice one!

send me a link to have a look...

  • good news. that's going to be a sweet bike, look forward to seeing it!!

  • that will fly kelvin, well done!

  • Cranks (my workshop) will be having a party, next Saturday 26th, to celebrate our first year of tinkering.
You're all invited to come by, from 7ish at the workshop (22 Chapel Street, Kemptown). There will a bar, precarious piles of bike tat, top DJs, and a jolly time will be had by all.
I was also thinking that it might be fun to have some more bike-themed entertainments, possibly a drunken alleycat. Anyone think of an interesting route around B'town?

  • Ah rubbish, there's also a show at the Cowley that night, I'll have to do some frantic cycling in between. What's your name BTW? I've occasionally helped out at cranks, have I met you?

  • sounds good tim! see you there! lots of routes around town.....maybe a treasurehunt style thing? first one back with a picture of a everything/place on the list....?

  • i have a non-cycling friend down on saturday, i think, but i will try to make it!
