  • oh yeah, i remember him posting on the forum saying he was coming over to sussex. did he come in the shop?

may not make the ride tomorrow. got a ton of sh*t to do, but will try. let you guys know.

  • the spok is here!! aahhhhh!!!

plans for tonight? up for a quick spin and a pint. Will have to head home not too late to do some work.

I'l try and pop down the track tomorrow to watch a few races too.

  • what time and where we meeting tonight? dont suppose anyone has a spare rear wheel, my hub died :(

  • hey kids. i am gonna be biking down to brighton on thursday (just for the fun of it, like). if any of you are about in the afternoon/evening, i'd be up for a pint. probably not be up for a ride though...

  • shall we meet at the library at 6.30? go for a spin along the undercliff or over the downs (?), then go get a pint?

  • six thirty might be a bit too early for me i'm afraid... can we edge it back a wee bit?

  • i can do a bit later. when is good with you?

who's up for it?? it's a bloody nice day for a ride...

  • lads, whats the plan.

i'm in a bit of a pickle. have to get some work done tonight, if we're meeting at seven might just have to go home and then meet you for a beer after.

if i'm at the lib square at seven i've changed my mind!

  • really shoulda given you my number on sunday andy...

i'll go post it up on the private numbers thread in case any of you need it

  • shoulda given you my mobile number at the weekend andy, would make this a little easier. I'll bung it up on private thread

  • ahem. I AM GONNA BE RIDING DOWN IN BRIGHTON ON THURSDAY. DOES ANYONE WANT TO MEET UP FOR A PINT? ahem.

  • i'll be about after work (6 ish)

  • hey teddy

sounds good. Around after work, 6 ish... earlier for a spin if the weather's good!

    my details - zer0 se7en ei8ht f5ve f5ve se7en n9ne 1ne 2wo zer0 s6x

  • I'll be around after about 8/9. Fitzherberts?

p.s. anyone going down the track wed?

  • hi teddy. beer sounds good. Max - let me know if you guys get in contact yeah?

i'll be down the track, may give racing a go if i feel strong... we'll see. anyone else up for joining me? don't want to be the only rookie : ) get you drops out M !!!

  • i'll be there to watch andy. no racing for me. right now I couldn't even keep up with the kids.

  • cool. i dunno brighton too well, so if anyone suggests a place, i'm up for it. my number is in the phone numbers section, and i'll give m-xl a ring when i'm down there to plan something.

  • We were chatting the other day about a social ride next week... how about a ride to the Trevor Arms in Glynde?

Over the Dyke, through the back lanes, across the A275, down past Glyndebourne and a llama farm to the pub. 15-20 miles, think there's food. Definitely good beer and an easy ride home*

    Tuesday, anyone?

    • it's next to Glynde station
  • I think I'd be too knackered on a Tuesday so I'm a maybe.

But I'll meet up for a pint when you spin back into town.

  • Sounds like a good ride to me, what sort of time?

  • whenever people can make it after work, i suppose... let's see who wants to come...

ps - richc - good to meet you the other day! come out again soon for a spin along the undercliff...

  • would be a nice ride actually, what time do you lot wanna leave, and how are you making it from lewes to glynde, going past the tesco in lewes and stright over the roundabout then right before ringmer?

  • we'll leave whatever time people can make... be nice if it wasn't too long past 6:30 tho.

was thinking of trying to avoid lewes altogether (or at least the A27), but broadly the way you're saying on the other side of the town.

    something like this

could be pleasant, but we could just go along the A27 (cycle path) if we start late.

    and here's the pub.

who's up for it and what sort of start time can you make??

    1. m-xl
    2. andy (he'll always ride)

trains are hourly back to brighton. i'll ring them up and check they're doing food, if that's important...

be nice to get a big turnout!

    cheers
