  • cool well pop by soon as its fairly quiet in the shop at the moment!

  • sorry guys been busy with the wedding/work so not on the forum/bike but well up for a ride at some point...

  • Me and Elvis are thinking about going over to the Steyning bike jumble on the 26th... anyone else fancy it?

  • yep, said so on the other thread too. could be good fun and maybe a bargin or two....

  • so you two still up for this? not too sure how long it's gonna take to get over there

  • yes mate. if it's pissing it down then i might drive (happy to give you both a lift).

nice route option, hour to get there?

  • route looks good to me, might be a bit slow up devils dyke though...

  • dyke road is a very gradual climb really. coming home that way up saddlescombe road is a different story!

  • im still up for it, where and when to meet up i guess is the next thing....

  • that route looks good too, oooh but what gearing to run....decision time! haha

  • don't worry lewis you'll be quicker than me i'll be running the lazy fixed riders fuji classic gearing...

Any other brightonians interested? if we are riding where the best point to meet I'm on brighton/hove border so pier aint too bad for me?

  • maybe an early start because it starts at 9am. don't want to miss the bargains. quarter to eight?? does that time exist on a sat??

42x16 on that ride is sweet. no hills you can't get up on that! i will probably go SS, shock horror!

  • 7:45 holy poo. yeah it does exist but in the evening! haha
your right though, earlyer is better! ok lets say 8 at the old peir....?

  • thats a 20 second ride from my flat so not bad from my point of view...

  • old pier it is. crazy early!

if it pisses down i'll drive.

  • oh yeah, critical mass this friday, level 6pm. might try and make it this month.

  • so far the frocast is good for friday and saturday!.......have i spoken too soon.....?!

  • Quick edit your post before you curse it

  • I've been riding my fixed mainly around Hove, Shoreham and Steyning since July, only seen 2 or 3 others, if you see an old(ish) bloke on an orange/pink Orbit gasping for air say hello

I'm going to the Mitre jumble tomorrow with my son but we are going by car, I'll say hello if I see you

anyone know of any bike couriers that work in Brighton? Do they exist or is Brighton too small?

  • There are but not really in the stereotypical city mould

Hopefully see you at the sale Stormy. There should be three of us on fixed/SS, say hi.

  • thanks Elvis, I'll look out for you tomorrow

  • I knew there was more of us...

we all still on for tommorow?

  • yep, me and lewis will be at the pier for 8. see you then bro.
