5 things.

Walking places in the rain.
Everyone else in ther cars in the traffic, and you just stroll on by. Sure you're wet, but things dry.

Getting my road bike out of the shed for the first time in two years, giving it a mechanical once over and a polish, taking it out for a test ride to town and instantly realising how awesome it is and how much I love it.
Yay!

Random shuffle playlists coming up with timely tunes.
Told my boss I was leaving and first song up was Metallica - HardwiredWe're so fucked
Shit outta luck
Hardwired to self-destructVery appropriate now there are zero members in payroll from mid April.

Oranges. I know they are not the only fruit but there is something delightful about these segmented fleshy orbs.
-
• #3532
I fucking love oranges.
-
• #3533
Only oranges ,
or,
are you a pan-citrussist? -
• #3534
I'll do lemon, lime in cooking or drinks and like a breakfast grapefruit. I've dallied with a pomelo before too.
But none of these compare to the mighty orange.

Charity shop bargains.
Just picked up a brand new, unopened set of Jabra Elite 7 noise cancelling ear buds for £20. RRP is £169.99 and retailing on Amazon for £122.

I used to love second hand bookshops. If I didn't already have shitloads of unread books to go through I'd make more time to visit them.

• #3538
The ones in National Trust places are great, get books for the kids for 50p or £1 each. Also bought a couple of nice books for myself too.

I used to collect Alistair McLean books when I was a kid. Nowadays I might just pop into an Oxfam now and again and see what random shit pops out at me. Haven't been for ages though.

Books seem to still be good value in charity shops. Records on the other hand...

Not sure about posting here or in “I hate”, but this place gets less love…
I thought we had a good bread knife for years though I was never particularly impressed by its performance. We decided to take a chance on this Japanese knife that came out cheaper (with shipping) than the Henckels current price.
What a difference, it goes through bread like butter! Highly recommended.

I love my new bread knife, the feeling runs deep.

I’m in Canada.

Oh I understand the love of a new good knife, and I know that a kitchen needs a good bread knife.
Would also mention your knife in the knife porn thread.
-
• #3548
Don’t know about knife porn, this was the cheapest one on the site, though not ugly by any stretch imo.
-
• #3549
This knife gives you pleasure, a nice cutting knife.
We moved on from porn to cool knives that we enjoy.
You just won't get to the golf bar thread
