Money collectors at work. Today we have a group of 'employees' being loud and wearing pyjamas. Where I live, I see chavvy shouty types in their pyjamas most days and I don't need to see it at work.

Yeah. What annoys me is the goading attitude of people like that can only be legitimised by the assumption that no one gives to charity in the first place.
It also makes people feel good about themselves for giving a tenner to charity once a year.

Charity sponsorships... Fucking hate it when (undoubtedly well meaning) work colleagues ask you to sponsor their "no real effort" charity event.
A couple of weeks ago I sponsored a group of women at work £50 each for "defying the elements" on a so-called "charity hike" in support of some cancer charity or other. Turns out they drove to the countryside somewhere and walked 3 miles to a country pub for lunch before heading back to their cars.
Happy to support the fight against cancer or whatever... By all means please feel free to ask for a donation, or simply tell it as it is. But please don't try to pretend and pass on a girly day out as a charity fundraising event.

Peletons of twats out for their Easter rides on the roads inside Windsor Great Park, assuming I have no right to be driving my car on said roads and then trying to tell me that I should be doing 20 mph or less when the speed limit is 38. The dog walkers are just as ignorant too.
-
• #7263
38?
-
• #7264
Yup. Crown Estates speed limit. Allegedly the speed of a gallumphing horse.
-
• #7265
The speed limit isn't a target.
If the road is full of other things going slower and "getting in your way" that is your problem and not theirs. You own a car, not the road. -
• #7266
I realise it is not a target I never bother to try and do 38 as there are always too many people wandering around, 30 mph on a good day. These are roads I have to use to get to and from work but twats wave me down to tell me that I am driving too fast and to watch out for dogs/children etc. They then proceed to tell me that they know that the limit is 20 because their friend's uncle works in the park or similar bollocks. Huge groups of cyclists that split to either side of the road as you approach and then gob off as you drive by.

They look suspicious, maybe a stop and search is in order, then a swift kicking when nobody else is looking.

Why don't you try cycling to work Constable?

Cracking idea, thanks.
Why don't you try cycling to work Constable?
I do cycle to work but sometimes I've got too much kit to carry like steel toe-capped boots, batons, cuffs, taser, pepper spray and a sackful of evidence to plant on some innocent bystander. I must finish building my bike trailer....

That's harsh. He's very good on Front Row. I simply won't go to a play without hearing his review first.

Leaf blowers. Most fucking stupid thing, ever. The US could cut its carbon emissions significantly by banning them.
