my university, my course, and the fact I can't concentrate for more than 10 mins on a good day.
the fact my left arm hurts if i move it, the fact this is causing issues at work, where I'm already very behind.
my insomnia for making me very behind at work.
the police car that hit me on Friday morning.
the dent in my head, which is causing me to have memory loss and keeping me from sleeping, again.
the past 3 years of my life, which have been to the utmost extent, a complete waste, and I wish I'd never even heard of Oxford, and mean I have to start as a fresher again at the age of 23 (not that bad actually :)

this is unnecesarry, as I have a very good life, and I am very lucky + privelidged to have had these opportunities, but frankly think it should have gone to someone else.
But still I'm angry at myself enough to allow my rant.

its not invisible, its clear. its easy to spot, but for starters if it looks like water and its below 0c its probably black ice.

It's fucking invisible. You could barely stand on the patch where FBR broke his collarbone and the road didn't look any different where the ice was.
In some spots, sure you can probably notice the road changing shades but in the two cases where I've seen people hit the deck on black ice, it's been totally invisible.

I hate the legal system. This is a horrendous story...i don't feel the punishment fits the crime.

I'm torn - part of me wonders what the alternative would be. If we wish to consider ourselves a civilised society we can never resort to capital punishment, but looking at that case I can't see that any punishment would fit that crime - but is that the aim? Do we want punishment or do we want rehabilitation?

We live in difficult times when we talk of justice - this gang gets prison sentences for a crime they were guilty of, that has totally wrecked somebody's life, while in the same legal system, someone can get shot just for looking like they might be a terrorist.

I'm starting to feel the need to act...

That the monday chat at work is not about football today but instead its all "Alex and the X-Factor Hallelujah" and how it's fantastic and christmassy etc
