I ended up losing her. You could see she'd given up today after 11 years. (We had her for 10)
So sad. But it's for the best. But the house seems so fucking empty without a lump to fall over on.

That REALLY sucks. It is never nice having to say goodbye... you wish they could go on for ever.
More (((((Hugs))))) I know this might sound daft, but once you've had time to grieve start thinking about the bounding young puppy that might be coming home with you one day.

...Loading a 400ISO film into a camera, then taking that camera to a place you're never going to be again any time soon, witnessing some amazing things, thinking you're going to have some astonishing images, getting home, taking the film out and realising that you had it set to 100ISO all along.
Fuck.

Microsoft Outlook Web Access. It's shit in every way. And how am I meant to look at other people's diaries from home? It just doesn't do it. Bloody useless.

Adults in offices with headphones in. Not whilst sat at their desks, but wandering around, with a ducking iphone in their pockets and the crappy white headphones. You’re not a teenager, I’m trying to speak to you. Take the ducking headphones out.

On a related note, people who are using the phone, holding the microphone up to their mouths to speak, while listening with the earphones. Take the earphones out and use it like a phone, you look like a dick.

Fuck.
When you develop it tell them to process it as a 100iso, should come out nice! No problem.
Or just stop using film ;-P

those little thread-like rubber nubbins round the edges of new tyres. they just bother me. last night while very bored and a bit drunk i picked them all off newish randoneur.
That sucks - my dad had to put ours down last year, she was 14 - not a bad age for a german shepard. she lived her first 7 as a guard dog and had a nice retirement with us. Was really sad but good to know she enjoyed life with us.
