I have just lost a good 4 or 5 friends to something that most people would think to be ridiculous and pathetic.

Sounds rub - but these things happen for reasons hey, and hey half the time you work out that the people you call 'friends' are there not cause you like em, but because of a circumstance (eg you work together). Crack on, it will all come good.

i hate that this week I reviewed footage from a music video i directed and found that a key scene which most of the budget went on is badly out of focus and we're not going to be able to reshoot because the location (which was derelict) now has a building site being erected over it.
