-car fumes (old cabs !)
-more car fumes due to tube strike
-bikers in kamikaze mode (with iPods)
-gutters with slots wider than 700x23c
-new noises from my drivtrain
-fixed riders that are too cool to nodd back at lights
and...from now on
all mugs without bicci compartment -

Taxi drivers, white van man, peds, bus drivers, coach drivers, Royal Mail van drivers, car drivers, yeah the usual lot but what I really hate are...other cyclists, esp red light jumpers. OK I have to admit I used to jump red lights but that was only when I was riding professionally, now I stop at ALL red lights.

photoben Can't you use a TimTam as a straw with hot drinks a la KitKat Chunky? For those not in the know, bite the ends off a chunky, dip one end in hot drink of choice, and suck though the other end till the drink comes through the middle. Amazing. When all the chocolate starts to melt chuck it all in your gob in one go for warm chocolately gooey mess. Mmmmmmmm.
Don't knock a thing till you've tried it.
I love doing that! I pretty much did that every morning for 2 years at college in the mornings :)

i'm mildly annoyed that the quality of my 5MP phone camera is actually worse than the quality of my 3.2MP.
Perhaps photoben can explain.
-
• #31
It's all about the lens in the camera. Megapixels mean dick all as a measure of quality, just a measure of file size.
-
• #32
Mild annoyance is covered in another thread mate.
-
• #33
Well, for an identical picture, the 5MP took up 125KB, the 3.2MP took up 650KB.
-
• #34
In settings I'm sure, mine allows a big file size and a small.
-
• #35
I'd check to see if the file size/quality setting is on max as MA£K says, but polished glass is going to always gonna be better than a tiny bit of plastic getting dusty in your pocket. What phone is it?
-
• #36
lpg if you go to settings, then look for "picture quality" set that to "fine"
and then "picture size" set that to "large". -
• #37
Yeah, i set it to superfine, and picture size is 2560x1920, but the quality is still worse than my sony ericsson k800. I have a feeling that, in good sunlight, the quality will be a lot better.
PB - the phone is samsung, g600.

can't beat a sony

you got that right.

I hate:
- the fact that I'm in debt before I've even moved to uni
- that my cranks feel loose even though it is soooo f*cking tight
- low on £££
- no money to go out and get wrecked.
- the fact that I'm in debt before I've even moved to uni
-
• #42
ahhhhh uni, what fun.
Oh and you always have money to get wrecked- even if food has to be forsaken ( remember this : [ i learnt it last year on my course] Alcohol prevents your glut4 receptor from taking up glucose so effectively- so you need less food.)
Disclaimer:
the above is total crap and instead it is the other way around, but it helps me whilst im at uni. -

natureboy
photoben How dare you insult such a great tradition ;-) Plus hippy may be able to back me up on this, don't Aussies dip TimTams in hot drinks?
Tim Tams? Pfff. They're just Penguins.
They bloody well are not! Penguins are shite! Tim Tams are awesome!

I hate...
... hitting potholes so hard that I'm bounced off my saddle and then look like a total muppet while I try to control my bike in traffic. -

stompy I hate...
... hitting potholes so hard that I'm bounced off my saddle and then look like a total muppet while I try to control my bike in traffic. And then realising that you haven't pumped your rear tyre in a while and that you have a sodding snake eye puncture. GAH.

• #46
I hate fugging fumes. Cough.
-
• #47
I hate...
Fricking scooters, especially when you get stuck behind one who thinks he can weave through traffic then can't fit through leaving you wedged between a bus and a lorry!
-
• #48
Aye, that happened to me three times this morning. Muppets.
-
• #49
I've watched cyclists do it to motos as well though. And cyclists do it to other cyclists.. we aren't innocent. :)

andrewleitch86 Those biscuits better not be getting dunked in that tea. That's one thing that's weird about England. In no other country in the world does the majority of people choose to mate a nice crunchy digestive biscuit with hot tea resulting in a soggy biscuit followed by a slurry at the bottom of the tea cup. I drink oolong tea so I wouldn't do it anyway but it's just crazy
Tim Tams? Pfff. They're just Penguins.
Its true, and the penguin was the first.
mmmmm, penguin.......
