Yeah Hob Nob's are a bit shit
Boasters. They were the bomb. Are they still around? Don't think so....

I thought I was the only one who hated Kate Tempest.
Kate Tempest the character that is, the person who is playing the role of Kate Tempest edgey street poet laureate to Radio4 is probably quite nice.

Bring back rep. I'd give you a double rosette. One for Sleaford Mods. The 2nd the Brighthouse induced chuckle.
-
• #14905
Nope. It's not her first appearance on here.

Oreos.
A 'chocolate' biscuit that doesn't taste of anything.
Fuck. Right. Off. -
• #14907
Very long dog leads but not very long dogs.
-
• #14908
The whole fucking point is that they're retractable, you utter shitbags!!!!

Chocolate rich tea were ace and I, truthfully, could get through a whole packet with narry a waft of nausea or rumble of guts. Choco Libitz however makes me feel ill after a couple. God knows what’s in ‘em.

Actual real butter rather than palm oil rubbish. You lot are wrong.
-
• #14911
I’ll speak in favour of Choco Leibniz too. Any chocolate biscuit that features real chocolate where the ratio of chocolate to biscuit is in favour of chocolate is awesome.

Is this your loathing of right angles and food again?

Lu Petit Ecolier then.

Petit Ecolier
Not seen them in years

Oreos
Totally

Oreos aka Toddler Crack, loaded with sugar. Watch out for the kids with black crumbs round their mouths.
-
• #14917
The good old plain Rich Tea is where it's at closely followed by the plain digestive. Get to fuck with your bourgeoisie chocolate coatings.

6 music fuck that noise
Bringing a solid decade of Elbow Florence shouting some skandi indie where they whistle and some children of millionaires going full Marie Antoinette playing some “folk”.
What does it sound like now?
-
• #14919
Elbow Florence
Exactly!

There’s a huge amount of that but it’s got plenty of variety via Huey Morgan and Cerys Matthews playing some good stuff.
What I can’t understand is how massive racist Liz Kershaw and walking corpse Steve Lamacq have still got jobs. What do they know?
I tend to listen to R4. It’s the same every day. A comforting rhythm. And I occasionally pick up some knowledge.
Jake Yapp sums it up perfectly - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VdOr5FpLKR8
If I want music, I choose my own.

It’s not often the chocolate to biscuit ratio is bourgeoisie though, is it? I had an Supermarket own-brand digestive the other day and had to look after I’d taken a bite to check there was chocolate on there.
Speaking of which, to maximise taste one should consume the biscuit chocolate side down, should one not? But that feels weird to me. -

Both of these are good outer layers when a thick spread of Nutella is applied between two biscuits.
-
• #14923
dark choc digestive, marmite, peanut butter.
-
• #14924
A palm oil slurry with a dash of cocoa solids does not a good chocolate biscuit make.

Working from home now the more I listen to 6 music the more I grow bored of it.
I don't want adverts though and I want a bit of chat and a bit of music so it's the best of a bad bunch.
The Hob nob came last in a recent office biscuit trial, but I'm very sorry to report that I can't find the results spreadsheet to be able to share with you. Anyway, those results were duly sent to McVities in order for them to reflect and make improvements, and they obliged us by returning about £10 of vouchers, which were spent on Hob nobs.
