a night ride sounds divine. i have a friend from s.f. who will likely be here that weekend, so my plans are contingent on what he might want to do. that being said, anyone have a spare bike? he's, like, 6'3 (i think? tall, anyway.), and persnickety enough about his bikes that he could definitely be trusted.

i got a spare fixed wheel just lying around. may be a tiny bit small, but then again, i ride it and i'm 6"2.

Might as well bump this up as it's next weekend.

If we start at the Gypsy Moth, we can get to the Woolwich tunnel by taking the Thames Path along the river. It'll be fun and I know that route well.

After that we can loop in through Docklands and the Isle of Dogs and into Central London along Narrow street, which will take us up to Tower Bridge.

Where do we go from there?

If we're meeting early - there's the good and cheap noodle place on the corner.
