I don't post a lot but I read a hellll of a lot on here so I've donated.
There must be elements you can commercialise like caps or club jerseys for LFGSS CC surely?

With Microcosm I want to do a charge only if you sell something, and only if the amount you received is above a certain figure and payment was electronic.
This would permit all low value items, as well as cash-in-hand sales, but will take a slice from international sellers and those trading frequently and doing electronic sales and shipping things.
The issue with charging for classifieds comes down to a fundamental question: What is a classified advert?
vBulletin has no such concept and it can't easily be mangled to have them.
Microcosm will have a classified type that acts a bit like an eBay advert in how it appears... because we'll know what a classified advert is and when you list and sell things, we'll be able to charge.
This isn't something that's going to be added to vBulletin.

Mine had lapsed when I changed bank cards, so have set it back up.
Are the donation options set a little low? If I remember rightly, a survey you did showed loads of people here earned shitloads uptown, and most of the time they're at work getting paid, they're on LFGSS. Ergo, they'd likely be willing to choose more generous options e.g.
'Bottle of wine'
'Nice bottle of wine'
'Round of Jagerbombs'
'Bottle of champers, gram of charlie and a lapdance' -

Should the title be -

not

I'll make that change.

Donation made.

^^^ +1
I already donate the maximum number of beers a month so I can't increase that except by doing one-off donations or setting up multiple subscriptions and I'll never remember to do that, so a beefed-up option would be nice.

Yes, possibly.
I created them at a time our costs were far lower, and everyone felt like a student or was funemployed.
I'll add some silly premium levels.

After my bank card expiring and multiple subsequent fuck ups by HSBC (two months later I still don't have the PIN for my new card), my monthly beers were also cancelled. Renewing now!

I've added the wine options on a monthly basis.
I'm not sure I'm going to go down the drugs and lapdance path.
Plus I don't know how much those things are.

CEO of a startup, doesn't know how much coke and hookers are = doing it wrong.

£6 won't buy you a bottle of nice wine anymore either - £10 or perhaps £8 minimum

You're thinking of a founder of a Series B/C startup, rolling in millions.
Most pre-Series A founders I know are drowning under the credit card and eating dry pasta.
I'm doing better than most, cutting it damn close but surviving. I just didn't factor in bailing out LFGSS over the last 5 or 6 months.

I shall remove the word nice.
Plonk = £6.
Fine wine = £15.That's about right... though I realise there's no upper bounds on these things.

Given that I got a contract extension today and have spent most of my time at work 'on here', it would be rude not to. 6 monthly donation changed to monthly.

I'm not sure, but I think the donations page is telling me that my one-off donation has caused the immediate expiry of my auto-refreshing donation. Is that the case? If so, I guess I can just set up another auto-refresh.

PayPal cancelled my recurring donation when I changed the card that was registered with them, somewhat annoyingly.

I have something set up anyway, and realise this is ignoring what you've asked for but just chucked a bit in the hat to help short term.
Will review what i donate when I have some time and try to take advantage of one of the new options.

I've only ever donated a one off amount but having read Velocios posts I shall set up a monthly donation to ease the spikes.

As well as the score I just threw in before reading this thread.
Go me. And Go LFGSS.
Good news.
